Perched on a hill with stunning views of the sea, this beachfront home provides the perfect coastal getaway. Spend your mornings watching the sunrise over the ocean, or take a quick drive to Newport for world-class seafood. After a fun-filled day, gather around the firepit and watch the sunset. Or retreat to the second-floor balcony with dazzling beachfront views. The primary suite also features a large circular window with gorgeous ocean views.
There’s plenty of space to socialize in this inviting home. The main living room boasts breathtaking ocean vistas, a flat-screen TV, and lots of cozy seating. On cooler evenings, enjoy a warm beverage and gather around the fireplace. Downstairs, a family room provides a great spot to watch a movie or play board games. There’s even a small kitchenette with a microwave, sink, and mini-fridge.
The expansive sunny kitchen provides everything you’ll need for tasty home-cooked meals, including a double sink, dishwasher, several options for making coffee, and massive amounts of counter space for meal preparation.

All guests shall abide by the good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles.
Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

This property was everything we wanted for our family get together. We came from all over Oregon and Iowa. We've been coming to Yachats for 35 years and this has been my favorite house so far! The views are amazing all day. The house is roomy for family games and chats!

Outstanding views from the upper main floor. The master suite is gorgeous but the lower floor bedrooms are spare and very small with no view. The space is taken up by a den on the lower floor. The double beds are comfortable but one single bed is slightly tilted ( could be improved). The laundry machine is spacious, the baseboard heat works well, and the kitchen is well equipped with dishes.The bathrooms are nice, with lower floor having a shower in tub, upper main floor has a walk in shower and a nice half bathroom. The beach is two minutes walk down the little hill, and it is wonderful.

We stayed at this Vacasa for a birthday weekend. It fit the full 8 guest maximum pretty snuggly, I must say, but nothing we couldn't handle! The views were incredible, the beach access feels private, and the home itself is quite gorgeous.
However, and hopefully this helps folks booking in the future, there are some pretty serious details that I think should be shared before booking. The most bothersome missing detail is that there is no AC, the windows are limited with what can be opened, and there are no curtains or blinds. I mention all of this because, on a hot summer day, like each afternoon we had, that house GETS HOT. Like, uncomfortably roasty in there—probably 15-20º hotter than outside. So those gorgeous windows come with a price, and they pretty much force you outside into the hot sun anyway. There was a ceiling fan on, but with such high ceilings, it didn't do much. Additionally, there was one box fan, but it was old and partially broken. Additionally, the max number of people is 8, yet the dining table only sits 6 without any additional dining table chairs. Not a big deal, of course, but just something to note. The beds and couches were decent, but I would definitely suggest bringing an air mattress if you plan on having 8 people stay. In terms of the access to the beach, which really probably does not fall on the owners here (not sure how that works), it was a liiiiittle scary. Definitely in stages of disrepair and could be super hazardous soon. Lastly, be warned!!! House keeping knocked at exactly 10:01am. Honestly, having to stay two nights but kicking us out so early should be reevaluated. I mean, the booking isn't even a full 48 hours with checkin being at 4pm.
This said, everything else was pretty alright! Would love to stay again, if there were some improvements. But the views are killer, and the beach is quiet and lovely, and all the other necessities are provided decently!
