About this house rental
Our vacation home is located right next to the Waldhof. Look forward to a breathtaking panoramic view from the Waldhof, stretching across the Arber to the Bavarian Forest National Park. Enjoy an exceptional atmosphere in our vacation home, where every detail has been carefully considered. Start your day by swimming a few laps in our heated outdoor pool (mid-April through early October, heated by a heat pump) or take one of the many forest trails for a morning walk at sunrise. In winter, you’ll find various cross-country ski trails and ski lifts in the immediate vicinity (within a 2–10 km radius).
End your day in a cozy atmosphere with a view of the Bavarian Forest, enjoying candlelight and a glass of wine by the open fireplace in our fireplace lounge.

The vacation home is located between Viechtach and St. Englmar.
The 100 square meters are divided into two or three bedrooms (1 king-size bed measuring 2 m x 2 m, 1 queen-size bed measuring 1.40 m x 2 m, plus—optional at the time of booking—a room with a sofa bed measuring 1.2 m x 2 m), a living room with a fireplace and dining area, and a kitchen equipped with cooking utensils, an espresso/cappuccino machine with a milk frother, and a toaster. The bathroom features a toilet, a shower/tub combination, and a hair dryer. Bed linens and towels are provided. Please note that children are only permitted in the pool area (including the ponds) under adult supervision.

Wir sind von den Besitzern des Ferienhauses sehr freundlich empfangen worden und haben von Ihnen alles wichtige gezeigt und erklärt bekommen. Sie waren von Anfang an sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Ferienhaus ist gut ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Es liegt mitten in der Natur und ist sehr ruhig gelegen, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind aber doch in ca. 10 Minuten mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Der Pool selbst war ebenfalls sehr sauber und konnte auch spätabends beleuchtet und überdacht genutzt werden. Zum Entspannen und Erholen absolut empfehlenswert. Für uns war es ein mehr als nur gelungener Urlaub. Jederzeit wieder!

Der Empfang war sehr freundlich, im weiteren Verlauf unseres Aufenthaltes erwies sich der Vermieter ebenfalls als sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Lage des Hauses ist herrlich, bei jedem Wetter und zu jeder Tageszeit ist der weite Blick von der Terrasse bzw. aus dem Wohnzimmer wunderbar und immer interessant. Wir konnten während unseres Aufenthaltes (Ende Mai bis Mitte Juni) meistens auf der Terrasse in den ersten Sonnenstrahlen frühstücken und abends ohne jeglichen Verkehrslärm den Vögeln und Grillen lauschen. Bis zum späten Nachmittag lag die Terrasse zumindest teilweise in der Sonne, sonst findet man auf dem schönen und großen Gelände immer ein sonniges Plätzchen. Der tolle überdachte Pool (ca 8 x 4 m), den wir natürlich auch bei Regenwetter genutzt haben, tat sein Übriges, um uns einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt genießen zu lassen. Wir haben nichts vermisst und jede Minute genossen.
P.S.: Wandern kann man überall in der näheren und weiteren Umgebung. Wem das Radfahren in den Bergen zu anstrengend ist, kann schnell den Donau- oder Isarradweg erreichen.
