About this house rental
Welcome to The Marlowe, a beautiful 3-bedroom house located less than a 5 minute walk from Canterbury High Street. The property has 3 bedrooms, an outdoor patio area and has free parking for one car.
The Space:
- 3 Bedrooms (Master can be arranged as a twin or a kingsize bed, bedroom 2 is a double and bedroom 3 is a single)
- Upstairs bathroom with a shower over the bath
- Downstairs WC
- Sofabed in the living area
- Free High Speed Wifi (67mb/s)
- Smart TV
- All sheets, bedding and towels provided
- Free Parking for one car
Guest Access:
The property has a private parking space to the rear of the property. This space is accessed via Pound Lane Car Park. Pound Lane carpark has electric car chargers. Guests can also park for free in the Car Park if they would prefer. If you have more than one car we can provide parking vouchers on request that are a discounted price.
The Neighbourhood:
The location of our property is second to none. The Marlowe theatre is a 2 minute walk away, the High street with its numerous restaurants, bars and shops is just a few minutes walk away. We also have a cinema just around the corner. Our property also sits diagonally opposite from a beautiful park where you can see the River Stour meandering it's way through the city. Despite it's close proximity to amenities, the location benefits from being quiet as it sits on a no through road.
Getting Around:
Parking is available for one car on site. Canterbury West for mainline services to London is less than a 10 minute walk away.

We enjoyed our stay. The property was clean and had almost everything we needed. We asked about face cloths and ice cube trays. Those items were promptly delivered to us. The location great, a short walk to many restaurants and venues. The only thing that was not as stated was the king size bed. It was 2 twins pushed together that created a queen bed. The twins were worn out, sloping towards the outer edge of the bed.

Very pleasant, comfortable house in a very good location. Very quiet street, close to the station, the city centre and the cathedral.
Canterbury is a town full of charm. Lots of opportunities for walking and cycling.

This property does not have a dishwasher it would have been nice if a pair of rubber gloves were provided for washing up.
One night i came down to the kitchen only to discover a leech/slug on the kitchen floor. This was disappointing and a let down for the property.
