About this apartment rental
The room is equipped with a double bed, a TV, a chest of drawers and a balcony with a small table. In the living room there is a sofa bed for two people and another balcony also with outdoor furniture. The kitchen is equipped with all the necessary utensils to prepare your meals. The apartment has wi-fi connection and is on the 8th floor (the building has an elevator). The outdoor swimming pool can be used freely.
Check-in after 10pm:
- from 10pm until 00h: 20€ | 00h until 2am: 30€
- The municipality of Portimão charges a tourist tax which is 2€ (1 April - 31 October) or 1€ (1 November - 31 March) per person / per day (up to a maximum of 7 days), except for guests under 13 years old, that are exempt from payment. This charge will take place at the check-in. It is not included in the reservation.
- A DAMAGE DEPOSIT of 100€ will be asked before check-in. The damage deposit is refundable a 2/3 days after check-out, if no damage is done to the property.

We waited 2 extra hours waiting to get into our condo. Don't know what the problem was. We were in contact with the property manager, but she couldn't get in touch with her representative, either.
The Internet wouldn't work. Turns out someone had turned off the hidden router and the rep didn't turn it back on for us.
Finally, the washer stopped mid cycle and wouldn't let us get our clothes out. The property manager was not at all helpful. We were lucky to get it open the next day, then had to hang everything to dry because the washer was filled with water, soaking our clothes. We needed those clothes to wear, but had to reuse clothes that were already dirty and sweaty.
