Luxury Villa for 6 in Islamlar with Heatable Indoor Pool

This villa is even better than in the photos. We felt like we were ‘living the dream’. The infinity pool was fantastic, towels, sun loungers and side tables plenty including a fun swinging egg chair we all enjoyed. The pool man came daily early - after a bit of a murky start it was crystal clear. The outside dining table is a beautiful handmade piece with 7 robust chairs. There are 2 shaded sofa areas and a full size table tennis table has been added since the photos were taken with 2 bats and a ball. Bedrooms are all huge, each with its own fridge! The jacuzzi upstairs and indoor pool downstairs were fun, crazy additions! There was loads of wardrobe and drawer space and each room even had its own laundry basket. The double en-suites are huge but only separated from the bedroom by a huge glass sliding door so if you’re shy (!) or need total privacy from your roommate this might be a problem. 4 soft balcony chairs added since photos. The laundry room upstairs has washing machine, tumble dryer, ironing board and iron. An airer/clothes line of some sort would have been handy, but I had taken a few pegs so made do by hanging tea shirts on the parasols and over the railings etc. You’ll need to take/buy detergent etc. The kitchen had all you needed including a grill, dishwasher, microwave and huge fridge and freezer. You’ll need to take/buy dishwasher tabs and bin bags. The kettle didn’t work for us but there were Turkish water pots we used instead. We would have found a bread knife and scissors handy but we made do. The open kitchen and lounge area works very well with huge opening patio doors all the way along opening onto the pool and with amazing mountain (and bit of sea) views from inside. We couldn’t get Netflix. There is also an extra downstairs toilet/shower room not listed. Communication with the manager was excellent, very quick and informative and a minor technical fault we reported was dealt with efficiently same day. We hired a car from the airport and arranged to meet in Kalkan and then followed a scooter up the mountain. Arriving in the night, it would have been virtually impossible to have found the villa by ourselves so we were very grateful for this. The location is potentially the only issue with this villa. You will need a car and be a very confident driver as the roads as you approach the villa are steep and narrow with no side railings. My husband didn’t mind this at all as he is very confident driving so for us not a dealbreaker.
