The views from this accommodation are breath-taking!!!! This is a great option if you want to be lost in the middle of the forest, breathing the clear air and going for walks in nature. The breakfast was very well served and really delicious. The room was clean, comfortable, cozy and warm. The host was really nice.

Umbrian Honeymoon

Monte Valentino is a magical place! Starting from the road, which at first might be difficult but then becomes fun when you get to know it, through the most welcoming and wonderful hosts (including the dog and a cat), cosy apartments, terrace with a breathtaking view and most beautiful sunsets, great swimming pool to the yummy breakfasts and good coffee. It is a place that feels like home and leaves you heartbroken when it's time to leave it. It has been the last part of our Umbrian honeymoon and we definitely will come back for a longer stay. Thank you Nico and Fabri for making it even more special! <3

Wonderfully quiet place with great views on top of an Umbrian hill

Monte Valentino as the name suggests is located on top of a fairly high hill offering fantastic views of the countryside. The old building has been converted into very cosy place to stay, away from the noise and bustle and yet not too far away from most of the major attractions of Umbria. If you need a rest remember to make substantial shopping (driving up and down can be a drag) and just give yourself a few days of peace on the top of the hill with a view, sipping wine and eating prosciutto on the terrace.

Once you manage the road uphill ... you reach perfection. Nothing for non experienced drivers! Beautifulest view and pool i've seen in years. Great breakfast, nicest hosts, and thank you Nina for being so nice with kids! Grazie a voi!

Piece of heaven with the nicest romantic swimming pool area

This was our second stay at this magical place and this time, we stayed for 12 nights as we needed peace and quite and rest. Fabrizia and Nicola are awesome hosts who were friendly and helpful, yet very discrete. Their cute dog Nina was again a great companion for our dog. The views from the aparment terrace and the swimming pool area are AMAZING. There were several days we were the only guests, and it certainly felt like paradise. Kitchenette is functional for both- quick snacks and also simple lunch. Location is quite great, as the agriturismo is very isolated from neighbours, so there is total feeling of privacy, but still you can have a great meal in the little villages/towns close by. I.e. Pietralunga. Overall Monte Valentino will always be one of our favourite places to stay in Umbria and I definitely recommend it to everyone!

The bed is a little bit hard :), but we did not notice this during our stay few years ago though. It probably means that it does not have anything to do with the quality of the bed, but probably with our age :D and quality of our backs.

Perfect location, great swimming pool.

- We had a magnificent view from our terrace. - The location of the pool couldn't be better. Almost a 360° view. Pretty big pool too. Cleaned daily. - We had an apartment with kitchen. Everything we needed was there - The accommodation was not too big (which we like, since we're looking for some rest & privacy) - Parking was big enough - There is a lot of (wild) nature surrounding the accommodation. (We saw a porcupine, scorpions, foxes, boares,..)

- The way to the accommodation is... challenging.. to say the least :-) The road is topped with gravel and the hills are steep. When you slow down too much, you won't make the top. When you excelerate too much, your wheels keep spinning around. We thought the condition of the road could be a bit better. Of course we understand that you have to climb to get such a wonderful view. (Coming from Belgium, where everything is flat.. :-)) - There's a lovely dog (Nina). It may be a good idea to tell people about her existence and particular behaviour around the pool. She keeps running rounds around the pool when you try to enter it. We understand it's completely harmless, but we feel some people would be more comfortable when they know she won't do anything harmful. That being said, we loved Nina, she's a very sweet dog. - Breakfast: we missed some fresh bread the most. Other than that we missed some meat and/or cheese. (Maybe it's just the way Italians have breakfast) We solved it by buying some in the local store. Provided breakfast was basic but good. - Hygiene could be a bit better. We had quite a few cobwebs, lenses of the previous people on our nightstands, stains,.. But overall it was not bad at all to be clear!

Typical Italian breakfast. Very good: fresh jam and yoghurt, muesli, croissants ! 😃. Tip: We would have liked some cheese / ham / slice of bread Studio was very comfortable with thé most amazing views on the valley. Perfect location tot visit the Umbrian area.

Een arendsnest met prachtige uitzichten

Prachtige omgeving met vele bezienswaardigheden. De ligging van de agriturismo was van een adembenemende schoonheid. Wij houden vooral van kunst, natuur en mooie dorpen en stadjes, noord-Umbrië heeft zeker onze verwachtingen ingelost.

De bedden waren een beetje te hard. Het ontbijt was verzorgd en lekker, maar we misten een beetje brood en fruit om een volwaardig ontbijt te hebben en voldaan te zijn. We kochten zelf brood als aanvulling en aten dit op in onze kamer.

Un soggiorno rilassante in un luogo suggestivo

L’agriturismo si trova in una posizione unica: sulla collina, a ridosso dei boschi, con una vista impagabile e un silenzio rigenerante. L’appartamento monolocale in cui abbiamo soggiornato era pulito e confortevole, la piscina é bellissima e la colazione eccezionale. La stradina bianca che porta all’agriturismo é impegnativa solo in alcuni tratti ma fattibilissima e la fatica viene ampiamente ripagata dalla bellezza del luogo.

Hemel op aarde

Behalve de weg er naartoe is dit de hemel op aarde. Mooi ultraschoon appartement. Goed uitgeruste keuken. Lekker ontbijt aan een ronde tafel met de andere gasten waardoor je leuk contact hebt. Het zwembad is werkelijk fantastisch!

オーナーご夫妻は凄く親切でとても気配りの出来る方でした。初日の夜にシャワーヘッドが壊れたので2日目の朝食時にお話しさせていただいたのですが、夕方宿に戻って来るまでに修理されていました。また、観光に出かけている際に夕立の雷雨があったのですが、ベッドの上の小窓も含め、部屋中の全ての窓を開けたまま出かけていたところ、全てオーナーさんによって閉じられていたので、どこも濡れていませんでした。また、部屋には小さなキッチン設備がありましたが必要な物は揃っていたので全く困りませんでした。宿の標高が高いところにあるのでたどり着くのに少々苦労しますが、部屋からの眺めはとても素晴らしく、遠くまでの山並みを含めた素敵な風景を満喫出来ます。

私は2日間の短い滞在だったので問題ありませんでしたが、洗濯機があればもっと長い滞在でも心配ないと思います。それから、チェックインした日はとても猛暑の日で部屋の中はちょっと気温が高い状態が夜まで続きましたので、ベランダに出て涼しい夜風にあたりました。こんな日は1年の内にそんなに沢山ないとは思いますが、エアコンがあればもっと快適だったと思います。

Het uitzicht vanuit onze kamer was fenomenaal. Om hier een boekje te lezen of samen een dinertje te eten was een waar feestje.

We hadden wel graag gebruik gemaakt van het zwembad. Die was helaas nog dicht. Maar we hebben ons daar verder niet aan gestoord.

Fabrizia e Nicola ti accolgono con un grande sorriso nel loro meraviglioso agriturismo. Dalla piscina si gode di una vista mozzafiato e la colazione viene fatta nella tranquillità più totale sotto il porticato della casa. Ho apprezzato tantissimo la natura che circondava la struttura: i fiori, le piante aromatiche, le querce, e un sacco di farfalle!

Struttura scadente raggiungibile con trattore,4x4 o elicottero. Proprietaria molto indisponente e maleducata, ci ha obbligati a pagare per intero la notte senza poterne usufruire per mancanza di servizi. Siamo dovuti scappare per indisponenza.La sconsiglio veramente, a mai più.

Buona la colazione. Bella la posizione sulla collina in mezzo al bosco.

Riscaldamento centralizzato non controllabile, struttura non molto calda. Dalle finestre entrava molta aria. La strada x arrivare potrebbe essere problematica per coloro che hanno macchine sportive rigide e con l'assetto basso, soprattutto in caso di maltempo.
