Kuressaare Romantic Apartment

Erittäin viiihtyisä ja mukava asunto, mukavasti ja rakkaudella sisustettu ja huolettu!!!

Perusvarustuksessa oli mainittu liikaa majoituspaikkoja, mikä ei ole vastannut todellisuutta. Asiaa saatiin ratkettua pienellä järjestelyllä.

Die Lage der Wohnung in der Nähe des Schlosses ist sehr gut. Im Apartment stehen viele Bilder und Kunstobjekte. Die Einrichtung ist stilvoll, es gibt eine Waschmaschine im Bad. Man kann auf einem Balkon in der Sonne sitzen.

Es ist keine Ferienwohnung im eigentlichen Sinne. Sie wirkt bewohnt und nur oberflächlich geputzt für den Gast. Einige Dinge wie der Toaster waren so verdreckt, dass man sie nicht gebrauchen konnte. Im Wohnzimmerkamin lag noch Asche. Auf dem Sofa lagen Flokatis, um Flecken zu verbergen. Es gibt keinen einzigen Schrank, keine Schublade, kein Regal oder Ablage, wo der Gast seine Sachen ablegen kann. Dafür blieben nur Stühle oder der Boden. Das Bett war nicht bezogen, was eigentlich kein Problem ist, doch so waren große Flecken auf der Matratze sichtbar. Schade ist, dass der Balkon von Mauern eingefasst ist. Nur im Stehen kann man die Türme der Burg sehen. Die Polster für die Balkonsitze waren nicht sauber. Man kann zwar die Waschmaschine nutzen, aber nirgendwo die Wäsche zum Trocknen aufhängen. Im Treppenhaus sind die kleinen Stufen ungleichmäßig gesetzt. Direkt vor der Wohnungstür kann man in eine Lücke treten. Es ist also nicht ganz ungefährlich. Äußerlich zählt das Gebäude zu den am wenigsten attraktiven Häusern in dem Viertel. In der Wohnung gibt es kein WLAN.

I always tey to be as honest as I can when I write my review. All in all apartment was great. Nice host, easy to find, dedicatec parking space. Apartment itself is spacious, fully equiped and has air conditioner. It is a must in hot wheather like this weekend. It has everything you need. I liked the coffee maker. You can find nearly everything you need. It was realy nice and pleasant stay.

However it was not 100%. The main issue is no Wifi or lan internet. When we booked it said wifi is available, then it was changed on booking description as wifi not available. I know that Saaremaa is amazing place to relax without socmedia, but some people need internet for work on projects. Anyway I was able to hotspot my phone. Wife said hairdryer wasn’t working. Also shower curtains are short so loads of water splash on bathroom floor.

The apartment was rather cozy and clean. The private balcony was a nice feature as was the espresso maker also. The apartment is nicely situated close to the castle and the main street (Lossi), yet on a very quiet street. Free private parking in the yard.

Some things need work. We couldn’t get the Wi-Fi to work: we were told that it needs no password, but all the available networks were password protected. The electrical outlet (with a timer) for the washing machine didn’t work so we had to use extension cords. Also, there wasn’t anything for hanging the laundry. The double bed was ”springy” and too soft for my back. Couple of glasses could be added, now there were only a few.
