While our Fort Myers Beach community continues to rebuild from the impact of Hurricane Ian and though our island paradise may look a bit different than it once has, the sun continues to shine each day and brings with it spectacular sunsets to savor and new memories to be made. Ongoing renovations are taking place throughout Fort Myers Beach. Many local shops and restaurants continue to reopen and welcome your support with a visit to Fort Myers Beach!
You'll find this charming beach house full of personality throughout the entire property. It's just a short walk in either direction to the Gulf beaches and well-appointed with beach gear, cruiser bicycles, and thoughtful extras. Located mid-island, you're an on a quiet side street where you can truly get away from it all to relax and recharge. Pack your bags and get ready to enjoy:

The public beach access is a few minutes' walk to the west of the house, either south to Hercules Drive or north to Connecticut Street. There you will find the Gulf, where you can sun, play, swim, enjoy sunrise runs along the beach, and dazzling sunsets at night. Several beach resorts are currently offering day passes so you can spend a day or two enjoying their pools and other beachfront amenities.
Many on-island restaurants/bars have re-opened, food trucks are popping up, and the island's Publix grocery store is now open again. Although we recover a little more each and every day, following Hurricane Ian some of the Island's services and amenities are currently limited, for the most up-to date information, please refer to https://www.visitfortmyers.com/beach-conditions & https://www.fortmyersbeach.org/whos-open-for-business/ for more information.
When you aren't enjoying the beach, you can drive south off the island to Lover's Key State Park, Bonita Springs, Naples and Marco Island; north off the island you'll find the beaches of Sanibel and Captiva Island; you'll also want to visit revitalized downtown Fort Myers - a great spot for dining and nightlife. Fort Myers is also home to multiple public golf courses and the Spring Training facilities of the Minnesota Twins and the Boston Red Sox. Nearby Coconut Point and the Miromar Outlets are great shopping and dining destinations; and we can't leave out the tony Waterside shops and 5th Avenue in Naples - fun whether you shop, eat or just look! Take a day to trip to the Florida Everglades for some alligator spotting on an exhilarating airboat ride. Southwest Florida truly does have a little something for everything!

Had a great time here, obvioise we pray for f myers and this was a very comfortable stay, the amenities that came with this property for us to use free were a game changer!

We had a wonderful time in Ft. Myers Beach. The house was in a perfect location, only 1/2 block off the beach and half way down the beach. This was important because traffic going north off the island was terrible, but going south was easy and Bonita Springs is a nice town with good restaurants. The house was clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed, including beach towels, beach chairs, a canopy tent and a cart to carry it all. We will rent again if we go back. Highly recommend.

I had not been to Fort Myers Beach for decades, and I had some trepidation after hurricane Ian.
While the island was devastated, the resiliency of the locals is very evident as businesses and residences alike recover. Which leads me to this rental. It was almost completely re-done post hurricane, and most of the neighbors are working their way back to normalcy. The beach remains perfect, and it is only a three-minute walk to the surf. For getting around, there are good bikes. For the stroll to the beach, there is a useful wagon to haul chairs and everything else you need. The house was fully stocked and has two porches for perfect outdoor enjoyment in shade or sun. I had a problem figuring out the TV, and management was remarkably responsive.

This cute beach cottage had everything my daughter and I needed for a relaxing trip to FMB. Very clean and well appointed. The bikes were great because vehicle traffic in March is quite heavy. We were able to get to the shops and eateries at the north end of the island and the Publix just a half mile south with no problems. Great proximity to a variety of attractions nearby as well.
