Beautiful home and amenities. Wonderful backyard and many supplies available in the house, 10-15min drive to Indiana Dunes state park. However, some stained bed covers, flat pillows, bugs in basement and rooms, extremely uncomfortable beds, no night stands or plug ins by the beds. Mismatched information about check-in and check-out between the website and the book in the house. House rules book states to put linens and towels in hamper available in each room, only found 1 hamper available in basement. The guest contact was very short and cold when asked a few questions and one time she did not respond at all. Someone arrived at the house before 10am while we were getting in the car to leave during check-out.

We had a great time except locking us out of the house the second day we were there. The host Geri was great and came and unlocked the door for us. The house was great and fit us all perfectly! The kids loved fishing and kayaking and even caught a few fish. The only issue we had but more of just an inconvenience was there was no ice or water coming from the fridge and the queen beds are a little uncomfortable to sleep on. My hips were sore in the mornings. Other than that it was great. Close to the beach and amenities yet away from the Hustle and Bustle of the city’s

One of the main reasons for staying here was a private hot tub. It was being repaired when we got there and took until the next day to be heated and after turning on, it immediately started leaking and shut down. Still not repaired as of check out time. We would appreciate an adjustment made to the cost of rental.
