About this house rental

This beautiful house is located near Lake Michigan in Northwest Indiana, less than 10 minutes from the expressway and toll road. There is a stainless steel kitchen, spa bathroom, finished basement and bar with sleeping capacity to accommodate two families. This is a smart home with Ring db, lights and thermostat controlled by your voice. We are less than an hour drive from downtown Chicago, and there are many great beaches nearby. Shopping and great dining options are also within a close drive.

This is a very safe neighborhood with lots of friendly people around. Easy access to Central Ave. which will get you quickly to restaurants, shopping and the highway.

NO PARTIES, or large gatherings of any type. Confetti of any type is not allowed on the premises-interior and exterior. I like my neighbors and they like me. Please only smoke outside, either on the deck or out back/front. SMOKING in the house will automatically get you a NEGATIVE REVIEW. No firearms allowed on premises. No Pets.

Very eclectic decor with plenty of space for people to sleep. Came for a getaway with kids to the dunes. Easy access to parks and beaches. Some old charm in the house and some updates.

We are 2 families traveling together. 4 adults 6 children. We LOVED saying here. Much more space than we were picturing. Very peaceful neighborhood and not far from Indiana Dunes National Park. Beautiful home with space for the kids to have their own areas and beds for the adults. Pictures do not do this home justice.Hosts were very responsive and respectful.

We enjoyed our 2 night stay at this house. It had 3 bedrooms and 3 couches with pullout beds so plenty of room for our group to stay. The kitchen, living room, and basement areas were all nice as well. The driveway had ample space for 3 vehicles. I would recommend this place.

The house has plenty of space to spread out and everyone can enjoy different activities. The basement was a great place to hang out, play games, and watch TV. The kitchen is large with all the amenities you need to cook. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend others stay as well

We affectionately refer to this property as the Christmas house! The antique sleigh is a big hit with our grandchildren. We have stayed here multiple times and it’s always our first choice when we’re in the area. The house is very spacious, clean and homey. We have a large family and have plenty of room to spread out. The hosts are absolutely wonderful! Highly recommend!

Rented this home to stay over the weekend while in town for my daughter’s wedding. Lovely home with a lot of space! Home was clean and had many amenities. Home is older so the floors squeak a lot in multiple places. Does have a large deck with a built in bar B que. There is a pool but was drained/tarped. Was told it is not used due to liability issues. Driveway has space for two cars comfortably. Home is close to town, Lake Michigan, and Indiana Dunes.

This home was well equipped and stocked for our group of 5 and could easily have accommodated many more! The layout also allowed us to enjoy movie nights together and then have privacy in our own spaces. Great location- we were 10 minutes from West Beach, and grocery stores were 4-6 minutes away.

This place is exactly as described. The kitchen is well stocked with spices, coffee, and necessary tools to prepare meals. We appreciated that we could brew a pot of coffee for morning and then use the same device for a single cup in the evening (K-cup). The place was clean and the house was plenty large enough for families. There were only 4 of us but could have accommodated many more. The large bathroom with jacuzzi tub was a plus. There were plenty of bath towels and washcloths. The host was communicative and helpful. There was no requirement for last minute photos, extra paperwork, or rules. Check in and out was simple. There are nearby places to eat and purchase any necessary items. We really enjoyed our stay.
