Location only

Everything else. It was dirty and in bad condition in the room. The staff was not there at any time of our stay so we did not know where to put our key at check out. Also I was very very noisy, doors were smacked all night long and the worst of it all was the U bahn made noise every other minute (and it was VERY loud) so we almost did not sleep the entire night. Would not recommend.

Has everything you need, good WiFi, good location (although be aware it might be awkward to stay in this neighborhood with family)

It felt a bit dirty. There was a slug crawling on the floor.... Interior wasn't very pleasing.

Good place, steep stairs

Big shower and toilet in 4 person room. Comfy beds. Fresh cool air from the windows and by a quiet street even at Saturday night.

The stairs are steep and hard to climb, the room was a bit shabby, beds missing legs etc. Single key for whole group of people. Might be hot on hot night since there is no air-conditioning.

A Cold Room and an Even Colder Night Staff

It was clean.

Don't ruin your experience in Hamburg for less 20 euros. We stayed in April, and the room was so cold (around 8°C) that we couldn’t even take off our jackets. But at the reception, it was completely warm—you could comfortably stay in just a t-shirt. When we told the receptionist the radiator wasn’t working and the room was freezing, he dismissed us, saying, “It’s April, I can’t do anything”. I asked, “So it’s not April for the reception area?” He just shrugged, as if to say, “It is what it is.” We couldn’t sleep comfortably that night. Definitely not worth saving a few euros.

That the rooms didn't have fridge or even a water boiler, so if you want to drink or have something stored it's not possible.

Superb

This is a nice hotel for the price. Room is spacy for 1-2 persons and the room was clean. There are several fast food restaurants and convenient stores, bakeries nearby. Staff is nice. Reeperbahn S Bahn station and the Harbour is within walking distance.

The bathroom is private, but at a separate premise next to the room.

A welcome and colorful change when you are used to standard designed hotel rooms.

We loved the mirror above the bed. The rooms are a welcome change after all the gray and standard hotel rooms we've seen. The location is excellent if you want to enjoy the nightlife of St. Pauli. We had our room on the backside of the building, and we heard no noise from the street with our window opened. The street of the hotel itself seems quiet enough. Staff gave us a good advice where to park our car for free. Room is a bit small, so you will likely spend most of your time on the bed.

The breakfast is okay for the price, but 'warm' additions like omelet or scrambled eggs would have been welcome. There is no elevator, but we didn't mind. Shower temperature is not really steady, and shower fits only 1 person. Room is a bit small, so you will likely spend most of your time on the bed.

Central location to the harbour, extremely friendly and helpful staff.

It's not the hotel fault, but we were not aware of the close location to Reeperbahn. We stayed there with the kids, not the best location for a family stay.

Great price. Great location for U-boot visit and walk to the city centre. Parking house nearby the hotel for 11eur/day.

Economy room was in the basement but at least it had a window.

the room was insanely small. the decor was a bit sleazy, and the bed was uncomfortable with pillows that were absolute garbage.
