Historic, eco-friendly/solar-powered home w/ a shared backyard & ping pong table, hot tub & sauna - dog-friendly!
Built in 1860, this historic Arcata home, once home to author Brett Hart, has been newly remodeled and updated. This lovely rental is located on the first floor and features a full kitchen, small dining table, and a comfortable, sunlit living area warmed by a gas fireplace. Outside, enjoy the shared, enclosed, grassy backyard with outdoor seating, a gas BBQ, and even a Ping-Pong table. Guests of this rental will also enjoy access to a shared, on-site sauna & outdoor hot tub.

WiFi (83 mbps download speed, 25 mbps upload speed, 15ms latency)
The family dog is welcome to join you here (1 dog max, $18 pet fee applies)
1 40 AMP quick charge EV charger in driveway (shared with triplex) $1 per 10 miles honor system
Laundry, sauna and hot tub facilities shared with the two other units in triplex
Four beach cruiser bicycles provided for use

We are very happy to be able to offer a hot tub and a sauna at this location. Please note that the Hot Tub does reach regular temperatures of 100 - 104 F. The Infrared Sauna however often reaches only 115 - 120 F, as opposed to a traditional wet sauna that may reach up to 140 F
You will asked to sign separate rental agreement sent to your email for e signature before receiving your check in info, as we are a small locally owned property management team.
A damage waiver, covering up to $1,000 of accidental damage to the property or its contents, is included in the cost of your reservation.
Parking Notes: We cannot guarantee a spot in the driveway as they are shared between guests of all three units on a first come, first served basis. Ample street parking is available for guest use. On 10th Street, you can park right in front of the home between 4:00pm - 10:00am the following morning. Outside of these hours, there is a two-hour limit for street parking spots. There is no time limit across the street, so guests can park there anytime.
Guest Entry Instructions: This rental utilizes an E-lock, a digital lock that requires a unique code to enter.

First off, GREAT COMMUNICATION. This company is top notch. The location was exactly as advertised. Spotless and well appointed. Great location in downtown. Quiet. Pet friendly with an enclosed yard. It was so nice for my pup to be able to be off leash while I watched. Dog waste bags provided. 100% would stay again.

This is a cozy place and very close to downtown, making it an easy walk. You are very close to two markets, plenty of eateries and some places with live music. The house is appointed with all the necessities, the beds are comfortable, and it is best for 2-4 people. The kitchen is easy to cook in, the cockery and cutlery fit the basics (could use a bit more selection), if youâre a coffee drinker there is just a drip coffee machine. Note: the water is very good. There is an auto kettle, so if you bring a Moka Pot or French Press youâre set. There is a selection of bagged teas and a container of ground coffee, plus the other cooking basics. As for the decor, cozy and snug. The gas fire is delightful and charming to ait by and chat the night away.

So close to Downtown Arcata, it was nice to not use the car. Hot Tub, Sauna, Ping Pong, bikes⊠they thought of it all!

Great location, walk to everything in Arcata - restaurants, farmers market, wetlands. 2nd time staying here and will be back
