About this apartment rental
Located in the East Atlanta Village - where everything's a little bit crooked (even parts of our 110+ year old building)! We hope you find our space as charming as we do!
The space
Enjoy a lively urban neighborhood while staying at Metropolitan Studios: a community arts space and Atlanta’s dedicated Burlesque house and venue. We are home to The Atlanta School of Burlesque and The Candybox Revue burlesque entertainment!
The flat is within walking distance to restaurants, shopping, entertainment, farmer’s markets, and more. We are also just minutes from I-20/I-85 and I-75, offering quick access to midtown, the airport, convention centers, Piedmont Park, and other parts of metro Atlanta!
Delightfully decorated in a neo-classic burlesque theme, and featuring high ceilings, high windows, original (and temperamental) hardwood floors, and works of art including a custom mural, this bright flat is composed of a large bedroom, a living-room (that can be used as a second bedroom), a “cozy” bathroom with what seems like an endless supply of hot water (and great water pressure), a kitchen nook, and a dining nook.
The flat is furnished and fitted.
- In the bedroom : king bed, TV, chest of drawers, ample closet, and easily accessible power sockets.
- In the living room: double sofa bed, coffee table, TV, dining table, ample and easily accessible power sockets.
- In the kitchen: coffee maker, mini refrigerator, microwave, basic cooking utensils and dining set.
- WiFi is included throughout
There is a zero-tolerance policy for smoking, open fire, or candles on any part of the property, interior or exterior. If we discover any evidence that this rule has been breached (e.g., smoke smell, ashes, candles, matches, cigar/cigarette butts, etc.) we fully reserve the right to charge a $300 flame/smoking fee, at minimum.
Guest access
The flat is at the top (2nd) floor, there is no elevator. Access is a private entrance via exterior staircase, which regrettably means it is not accessible to wheelchairs or folks who may be physically challenged by stairs, at this time.
The flat is equipped with keyless entry so you will receive a code upon booking confirmation.
Other things to note
Please note that our burlesque house is full of glee and life when classes are taking place. If you are looking for serenity, we know there are other spots in the area that would do a better job of providing that! Generally, these occur on:
Sundays: 1pm - 7pm
M-Th: 6pm - 10pm
Events are typically held on Fridays and/or Saturdays at varying times. Occasional burlesque/entertainment-based workshops are held at varying times on weekends.

Myself & two other females were in town for a music event. Location was in walking distance to the venue & a whole host of other shops, eateries & venues. If you want somewhere to stay where you have walking access to a variety of fun things then this is it. Area was very well lit & we never felt unsafe out walking on our own. Apartment was super cute & very clean. It was perfect for our overnight stay. We will be back.

Quite a unique property right along the edge of an eclectic neighborhood full of restaurants, bars and shops. Not to far from the music venue the Eastern or even downtown. Highly recommended, will keep in mind for future stays.

Spacious one bedroom with separate living room. Two doors between living room and bedroom allow for sleeping in. Great location, no more than 5 minutes from any restaurant in East Atlanta Village.
