About this apartment rental
This Main Floor Suite is perfect for families and is planned keeping in mind functionality and spaciousness. Enjoy your movie night with family at the open concept living room. Kitchen is ample and fully equipped to prepare your favorite meals. With an access to backyard (via front door around the house) you can enjoy a relaxing time on the deck.
Location has easy access to major routes (Glenmore, Deerfoot & Peigan), only 15 min by car to downtown and major South East Corporate Offices.
The Kitchen
Find a lot of cabinetry and countertop space, with fridge/freezer, microwave, oven and stovetop giving you space to store your food and the means to cook it. Water filter is included. There is a table for 4 to have a nice breakfast or snack any time of the day.
Help yourself with washer & dryer in the kitchen.
The Bedrooms
You will have additional privacy with a half bathroom in the main bedroom.
There is a working space with HDMI 19` monitor in each bedroom. All the beds include memory foam mattresses for best comfort.
There is 1 queen bed in the main room, 1 double bed in a second room and 1 single bedroom in a third room.
Living Room
Comfortable, spacious with lots of natural light, windows with blackout curtains for warmth and extra privacy
The Bathroom
Enjoy a shower with a soft massage shower head or nice warm bath just like at home.
- Private 2 spots driveway parking and ample options for parking on the street.
- Hot tub is not included, please do not attempt to fill it up or operate it.
- You can make use of the shared backyard, BBQ, deck and firepit. The backyard is shared with our other valued Airbnb from the basement suite.
- For the living room TV. Cable TV or streaming services are not available, you can stream your device or plug in your Laptop or device using a HDMI connection. DVD and movies selection provided.
We are international couple sharing our home with our valued guests and Tenants. We have our own schedules but in our free time we like to socialize and get to know people.
We provide you with city guidance, how to.. and when possible we like to help.
Lynnwood is a mature neighborhood (70s) with tall trees, quiet and cozy; it is located bordering the `first circle` of the city. The house is across the street from one of the hidden natural jewels of Calgary, Beaverdam Flats Park, which is also a bird sanctuary and a perfect spot to explore the shores of the Elbow river, have a bicycle ride or take a hike watching the sunset behind Calgary downtown view.
30m from the house there are plenty of bus stops that will take you directly to downtown or to the LRT train station Chinook and Chinook Mall in only 18 min.
Public transportation:
-> Take bus 24-Ogden FROM: Downtown 1st SW & 7th Ave (Stephen) TO BUS STOP> 9608-Lynnview Rd @ 662nd Ave. and walk 50 m to home.
-> Routes 41 & 36 from/to LRT Chinook station.
- Access to backyard is via front door and drive way. Back door in kitchen is locked from both sides.
- Backyard main door is the entrance to the basement suite, your front door entrance code will not work for the back door.
Our Standard Rules:
- This is not a hotel or commercial type lodging you must acknowledge you have fully read all sections of this advertising.
- 3rd party rental not allowed,
- No subletting allowed
- No visitors allowed, anywhere, any time within premises. Suite is for the number of people as specified in the reservation.
- Quiet time is between 10:30pm till 7am. Kitchen usage is limited to microwave. Please be mindful on slaming doors.
- Remove shoes at entrance and place them on the shoe rack.
- Clean up kitchen when reservation ends. Please put dishes to wash.
- Clean up bathroom after yourself, follow posted signs
- Clean bedroom upon leaving, bed linen & towel(s) leave them on the bed
- Follow posted signs around the house
- Washer and dryer must be turned off at 10:00 pm and not earlier than 7:30 am.
- No outdoor equipment (oversized) allowed inside the house or room (examples but not limited to: bicycles, wet ski/snowboards, unprotected skates, etc). Chain bikes to tree in backyard.
- Smoke only in backyard (by fire pit) OR MINIMUM 5m away from any entrance, window or air intake. Pick up your butts and throw in garbige
- Smoking or inhaling inside is forbidden and will cause immediate reservation cancellation and $350 charge for odor removal.
- Burning candles or incience indoors is not allowed, reservation will be cancelled immediately.

Check in was really easy. Communication was great. Was under the impression it being a Vrbo that we would be the only people there. Really wasn't comfortable with all the different male downstairs coming and going.

The location is a little far from downtown, but fortunately Calgary bus 24 goes right by the house and takes us straight to Stampede grounds and downtown.The house is well maintained and clean, and we had the whole main floor, but you have to remember the basement is also rented out...and they ask for quiet. We really weren't loud, but I guess any sound was transferred through the floor.

The hosts were great. Would definitely stay here again. It was in close proximity to everything we needed. The house has a nice AV system but not having brought a laptop we could not use it and there is no other television in the home.

It was an ok place to stay. Check in was fine. The tenants downstairs smoke pot and we didn't realize and could smell it anytime they smoked and the windows were open. One toilet was not clean, the microwave, toaster over and some dishes (that were put away) were not cleaned. Dishes I assume from a previous stay were left in the sink (clean?). Overall it was ok but not the best place we stayed in.
