Condesa or La Condesa is an area south of the Zona Rosa, 5 kilometers west of the Zócalo, the city's main square, and very close to La Roma, another great neighborhood in Mexico City.
Art Decó is the predominant architectural style mixed with modern buildings and European mansions, it is also the home to one of the most creative communities in the city, so it is common to see the amazing street style.
Must-see:
1. Along its streets, you will find boutiques, organic stores, antique stores, bars, bookstores, and more. Here you will experience cuisines from different parts of the world in restaurants with a relaxed and unpretentious atmosphere. Everything is in La Condesa: Mexican, Greek, Indian, French, Japanese, and Argentinean food, among others.
2. One of the most vibrant and beautiful circuits is Amsterdam, an oval that seems to have no end. During the tour, you will find fountains, water mirrors, gazebos full of vegetation, and restaurants installed in old mansions.
3. You can not miss Mexico Park (Parque México) built in 1927 to be the meeting point of the area.
If you choose to stay here, you will fall in love because the eclectic atmosphere of this area makes it very easy to feel at home while you are inside its perimeter.

A spacious apartment in a great neighbourhood, comfortable bed, could be 5 stars with just a little work. First, on arrival there is supposed to be a building door keycard and elevator fob. There weren't, and after 3 days of back and forth with the mgmt company it was clear there never would be - we had to buzz security to let us in. Just be honest and say at the start that there are no cards/fobs and you have to ask security every time you return. There is a lock box, but it's not bolted to anything, so you could pick it up and carry it out. Twice the toilets stopped filling up even though there was water to the rest of the apartment (unique Mexican plumbing!) and had to get maintenance to fix it. And some small things - no aerator on the kitchen tap so it splashes a lot, and half the knobs on the stove are broken so you have to move the good ones around depending on which burner you want to use. To be clear, it's overall a lovely space on a quiet street close to a chill park and lots of really good casual places to eat, just needs some attention to detail.

We spent two very pleasant weeks in this very pleasant apartment overlooking trees & a great walking path with many good cafe options along the way. Beds were comfortable, layout of the apartment was good. We especially appreciated the two bathrooms & additional powder room/toilet.
