Superb Sea Pines 3BR Villa: Walk to Beach, Stunning Lagoon View with Private Putting/Chipping Green
This is truly the perfect vacation rental for those who wish to enjoy all the best of Sea Pines and Hilton Head. It offers comfortable modern accommodation for the whole family with walls of windows for enjoying a remarkable lagoon/golf course view.
Light and airy with modern finishes and a casual coastal décor, the open floor plan is great for gathering with family and friends. The kitchen is beautifully updated and extremely well equipped for cooking and dining at home -- and features stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops, and a pull up breakfast bar. Fiber optic high speed internet, cable TV, Sonos wireless speakers, and Apple TV – as well as dozens of board games -- provide your family’s entertainment needs in the living room/dining room area.
The villa is located across a beautiful lagoon just off of the 4th tee box of Atlantic Dunes golf course. From the back door you can stroll across either of two private bridges to the community’s own putting and chipping green. Or you can enjoy fishing right from the backyard! Those feeling less active can just sit in an Adirondack chair under the shade of majestic live oak trees and enjoy being serenaded by bird song and marveling at the backyard wild life.
From the front door you are just a short 7 minute walk to the finest beach in Sea Pines. It’s an even shorter bike ride to the Beach Club, the Plantation Golf Club and the 600 acre Forest Preserve. Being located very close to Sea Pines’ less-crowded Ocean Gate means that access to the rest of Hilton Head by bike or car is easy and convenient.
Sleeping accommodations include a master bedroom downstairs that has a king bed with en suite full bathroom with walk-in glass shower. Two guest rooms are upstairs, each with full bath attached. One guest room has a queen size bed with walk in glass shower. The second guest room has a king bed with en suite full bath. The couch in the living room is convertible to an extra bed if needed.
Sea Pines Resort amenities include three championship golf courses, loads of tennis and pickleball courts, miles of bike trails, white sand beaches, the Harbourtown marina and lighthouse museum, and the Salty Dog café.
Guests can use the South Beach pool for a weekly fee of $100 for a family of four. You pay for the weekly pool pass at South Beach pool.
The PGA’s Heritage Golf Classic is played annually in Sea Pines at the Harbourtown Golf Links, so if you are a golfer you can play where the pros play. But you can also go deep sea fishing, take a sunset cruise, enjoy great restaurants, shop in waterfront stores and enjoy the many ocean, forest and marsh views -- all without leaving Sea Pines Resort.
Outside the resort, Hilton Head Island offers 118 miles of bike paths, over 200 restaurants with lots of waterfront and seafood dining options and outdoor music. There is plenty of shopping and almost no end to outdoor activities to choose from -- including kayaking, sailing trips, ziplining, and nature tours.

We traditionally stayed in Palmetto Dunes when we visited when our daughters were growing up. We came back with all three now adults and stayed in 78 Fairway in Sea Pines. We had a fantastic time. The place was beautiful and convenient to the beach and other entertainment.

The condo was great! The beach was a short walk from the front door. The kitchen was the best stocked kitchen I’ve seen at a VRBO. Be aware that the pool is a10 min. drive….the beach is closer.

We absolutely loved this condo and will most definitely be back again! The layout of the property, the location, the open airy space all made it the perfect place for the 6 of us to stay. It's equipped with everything you need and more. The extensive book library on the balcony and the game collection were impressive! The property manager was responsive and helpful when needed (a little bird got in one day the back door!)
The body of water out back is filled with alligators :) They love to sun bathe on the putting green across the water. We were playing bocce in the backyard and one alligator was watching us for approximately 30 minutes till he jumped up out of the water and ran to one of our bocce balls, grabbed it in his mouth (recentered himself because bocce balls are heavy!) and carried it back into the water. We have video footage! It was the funniest and most bizarre thing - so just beware they are fiesty!
