Welcome to George’s place (named after our loving Grandfather and the original owner of the property!)
Enjoy a relaxing lake retreat on Spider Lake in Traverse City, MI. This four bedroom, three and a half bath vacation rental is located on the west side of Spider Lake on a quiet paved road with 75 feet of private sandy frontage. Completely remodeled in 2021, this property features over 2400sq ft. Our home includes all the necessities for a trouble free & comfortable stay. In addition to a fully supplied home with all the kitchen, bath & bedroom amenities you need, we also supply two full size kayaks, pack-n-play and high chair.
The Space-
Private residential home recently renovated and equipped with new modern furniture and decor. It is located in the friendly lake community of Spider Lake and 10 miles to downtown Traverse City!
Winter- House is located 2 minutes from the Rasho Road trailhead, VASA bike trail which includes fat bike and XC Ski Trails
Summer- Enjoy all that all sports Spider Lake has to offer. Great fishing, Kayaking, Wakesurfing and Waterskiing. Boat Ramp is just a few minutes away. Dock can accommodate boats up to 25’ in length. There are 2 kayaks with life jackets for your use. A firepit to make smores while listening to the loons.
Our standard accommodation includes up to 12 people (1 King bed, 3 queen beds and one bunk bed with twin over full combo).
CHECK IN time: after 4PM
CHECK OUT time: before 10AM
5-7 DAY RENTALS ONLY: JUNE, JULY, AUGUST.
For your comfort you will have the following at your disposal:
A spacious living room with new vinyl plank floors, new furnishings, high ceilings, recessed lights, new smart television. There is a second living room located on the lower floor of the home that includes a section couch, lake views, a walk out door and smart television.
A fully equipped and well stocked open kitchen with island that includes the following new items: full size refrigerator, dishes, utensils, kettle, crock pot toaster, microwave, gas stove, fire extinguisher, 12 cup coffee maker, pots/pans and spice rack.
Three newly remodeled and clean bathrooms include, bathtub, shower, sink, and toilets. One newly remodeled half bath including sink and toilet.
Four newly remodeled bedrooms with new beds, new mattresses include hypoallergenic waterproof mattress covers, new hypoallergenic pillows with hypoallergenic waterproof covers, new comforter sets, ceiling fans with remote, lake views, abundance of natural light and lots of storage space to include all your luggage.
New central heat and air conditioning throughout the home.
Large deck includes plenty of patio furniture and lakefront views!
We also provide new plush bath towels, wash clothes, hand towels, high chair, pack-n-play, board games, quality linens, new stainless steel appliances, washer and dryer, laundry detergent, iron, ironing board, High speed wireless internet, ceiling fans, upright vacuum, fire extinguisher, two stall garage, keyless entry.
Back Yard –
Private access to dock on all sports Spider Lake. Boat Ramp is just a few minutes away. Dock can accommodate boats up to 25’ in length. There are 2 kayaks with life jackets for your use. A firepit to make smores while listening to the loons.

Was a perfect fall weekend on Spider lake. The house was very clean and comfortable. Played a fair amount of foosball & ping pong while we were there. Took advantage of having a outdoor fire with the family on Saturday evening.

House not cleaned after last people.
Outside garbage cans overflowing.
Host sent someone on Saturday to touch up bathrooms. Only one couch in living area for 12 people. The lake was beautiful though and we rented a pontoon boat so everyone had fun.
