This cottage includes a master suite with bath, fishing boat with dock, beautiful sandy beach, 2 Family Rooms both equipped with Cable & DVD, newly remodeled with multiple outdoor decks & covered balcony. Our Lakefront Cottage is located in the Forest Lakes Resort Area just 15 minutes southeast of Downtown Traverse City. It is available ALL YEAR. Weekly rentals run Sunday 4 pm until the following Sunday morning at 11 am. FAMILY RENTALS ONLY . Cottage is in a family friendly setting, no parties. Quiet time after 10 pm. Guests must read and sign rental agreement, available online.

Amenities include an equipped kitchen, living/dining room and lower walkout family room. The master suite has a full bath a opening to deck, 2nd Bedroom has two twin beds and off of family room in walkout with sleeper sofa on lower level, laundry room with stackable washer/dryer, additional full bath on main and porch off living room and lower level covered porch over looking lake.

All linens except personal and beach towels are furnished. The location offers spectacular views of the lake and bay. Spider Lake is unique in that we have 1 Public Island with 459 acres of Lake. We have an association that regulates a quiet time early in the morning and in the evening for fishing, kayaking, canoeing, and sailing. This no wake time adds to the Up North peaceful feel you can enjoy at our cottage. With Spider Lake being located in the Forest Lake Resort Area it allows you the ability to visit a number of other lakes close at hand.

Whether you prefer a lazy or active vacation, you will find it here. Our family cottage offers you a swim, great fishing, row the interesting shoreline or visit an island to picnic on or swim off its sandbar, read a book, enjoy a casual dinner or relax on one of the many out door living areas. There are several golf courses and casinos a close drive from the cottage. Spider lake boat launch is nearby. A park with a baseball diamond, tennis, and basketball courts is just up the road.

Enjoy a dinner at home on the deck with a a glass of wine from your day trip to one of the local wineries topped off by a bonfire on the beach roasting marshmallows for desert ; or a short drive to fine dining restaurants over looking the bay and a stroll in downtown Traverse City you will relax and unwind in this Northern Michigan Resort Area.

Our cottage is available for weekly rental, ALL YEAR 'A deposit is required to hold your reservation and the balance is due 60 days prior to your arrival. More detailed directions and information will be provided at the time you make your reservation.
