The house was clean, comfortable and just what we needed for our stay in Port Angeles. I agree with some of the other reviews here that the shower isn't fantastic, but don't let that deter you from staying. We had an issue with it during our stay, but Aaron was extremely responsive and took care of things immediately. We felt safe in the house as two women traveling. It is at the end of a quiet street and easily walkable to the main drag of Port Angeles and very close to accessing Olympia National Park.

The property was clean and very nice for our needs. It was well decorated and convenient to the city. The beds were very comfortable. The easy checkout was a nice bonus. The park next door was nice until homeless people took up residence and even slept next to our car parked out front. Toward the end of our week-long stay, they seemed to have been moved out, and we didn't see them any longer. It never felt unsafe. It was a wonderful stay and we would use the facility again. I really liked the separated bedrooms and location.

This was a nice place to stay to explore the peninsula. Everything within Port Angeles is walkable, and ONP and many other hikes are a quick drive. The property is cute and cozy, but there were a couple areas for improvement: (1) shampoo and conditioner were supplied, but not soap - other than an old-looking bar of soap that I couldn't tell if it was intended for us to use, or left by a prior guest; and (2) the bedroom windows did not have screens, and the one warm night of our stay was a bit uncomfortable with the window closed. Those small matters aside, we enjoyed our time and would gladly stay here again! Aaron was also great with communication and check-in was a breeze.

House was perfect for our short stay in Port Angeles. It was very clean and had everything we needed. We had a small issue with the shower, but the owner was very responsive and took care of it right away. We would definitely stay here again.

The house was super cute and comfortably suited our needs. However, the abandoned house in the back alley and homeless in the property next door without a fence to separate was a little uncomfortable. The morning deer coming into the yard and staring at you were a definite bonus!

The check in process was simple. Inside the house was clean and organized. The backpatio is fenced in so it was stress relieving to let the pups out. The bed was comfortable. I will stay here again to enjoy the remainder of the amenities.

We stayed in this home as a central point for our travels across the Olympic Peninsula; it is a great place to stay, very clean, cozy beds, cozy couch and well equipped kitchen. There is a nice park right next to it, where you can take your dog, and have a nice view of the mountains. It's close to downtown and to markets to get something to eat or just walk around.Property manager was quick to answer questions.

I loved the house—its thoughtful layout offered real privacy between the two bedrooms, and there were great spaces to enjoy inside and out. Very charming Pacific Northwest feel, plush mattresses, equipped kitchen, clean and clean design.

Loved the pellet stove. Easy walking to Safeway. Next to a nice park with deer walking by in the morning.

We were in town to work at the Dungeness Crab Festival. This home was perfectly located. Close to everything, but in a quite neighborhood.

The pros: We were a very short drive to everything we wanted to visit in town (beach, shops, restaurants). Most things were even a short walk, which was great! The backyard was perfect for a fire and would’ve been nice even with a larger group than our family of three. The kitchen was also well-stocked with daily needs, and we didn’t need to buy any additional kitchenware. The couches were very comfy and the beds were nice.
The cons: The listing has Family Friendly listed which is a bit misleading as they had none of the items listed (kids’ dinnerware, toys, books, games). We messaged the host about it, and he was kind enough to offer to bring us children’s dinnerware, but really the main draw were the toys and games for kids. This led to us needing to go and buy books and toys at a local thrift store. Not a deal-breaking situation, but if the host is aware the family friendly tag is incorrect and cannot get it fixed, providing the items listed (even a few) would help with any future issues. If not, future guests please be advised this location isn’t entirely family friendly and you’ll want to bring plenty of toys and books. I think kids 13+ would do fine, but not younger.
The other big con (which the owner can’t do much about) is the park next door. Homeless folks camp there, and although they didn’t directly bother us, they did leave needles in the bushes outside—tying into the lack of family friendliness.

The house was in an excellent location for our needs. Some attention is needed for the lighting as some rooms were dim. A good vacuum wouldn’t hurt either but the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed.

Able to walk to restaurants and grocery store within 15 minutes or less. Funky but fine layout with great living room space, tv, and wi-fi. Outdoor space allowed dog roaming without worry of escape. Shower was a little cumbersome due to the shower curtains if anything negative. Would definitely stay again.

Has the basics. Nicer bedroom has no heat, so it was too cold to sleep in. Good location.

We were in town for a 50th wedding anniversary. This house was convienently located and a good size for our family of 4. There's a very nice patio I would have loved to spend time on, but with our family even, we didn't get a chance.
A couple negatives: there's many homeless people camping in the park next to the house and it's a quiet street. My husband was a little concerned about leaving the car over night. We had no problems, but something to consider. Also, overnight temps were in the low 30s and the house was frigid overnight. There is a pellet stove, but some small space heaters for the bedrooms would have been nice.
Overall, I would stay again, but maybe in the summer when it was warmer and when we'd have more opportunity to use the patio!

This property had a perfect blend of old world charm with modern comforts. Except for maybe the shower. We used the claw tub to bathe in (too tempting to miss) but the curtains were cumbersome when showering. The bed was very comfortable. Glad to be able to do laundry. We enjoyed it very much.

It was a perfect location to get to all the places we wanted to see in the Olympic national park. It had basically everything we needed for our stay. Very convenient location. The only bad part was the kitchen was small and it was hard to move around with two people in the kitchen. The mattress in the front bedroom needs to be replaced, it was very low in the middle. But you can’t beat its location!

Ad is pretty accurate as to location, cleanliness, and how the house looks. We enjoyed our stay and would consider this location again if we return to Port Angeles. The location is next to a park that had people camping in tents. I am not sure if this is people camping along the Pacific Coast Trail, or a transient homeless camp, as the tents were gone during the day but back again each night. The campers looked kind of sketch so I did not let the children go over there past afternoon. Other than that, which is beyond the owner's control, it wwas great.

We loved this house! Everyone had plenty of space to spread out, property was clean and well located for our points of interest. We arrived early and our host was kind enough to give us access so we could drop our luggage before heading to our first adventure in PA. We would definitely stay here again!

We stayed for two nights, a family of five and a dog. A great little house, comfortable and welcoming. Located at the end of a street, very quiet. Didn't spent much time there during the day, but found everything we needed for comfortable sleeps. Thank you, host!

We didnt arrive until 7pm but the house was lit up and ready for us. Very welcoming inside and getting access to the house was easy. Altogether a cute little house, perfect for our small family one night stay. Great location too.

Stayed for one night - comfortable and cozy. Two bedrooms are small but clean. Good kitchen. Proximity to groceries and amenities, if needed. Plenty of safe parking outside the house. It’s a street with dead end, so not much thoroughfare. Only issue: TV didn’t work (remote was not working). Hope hosts will fix that problem.
Would surely recommend and even stay again if we visit the area.
