We had a GREAT time. The house was in excellent shape and well-stocked for a family, and offered unreal views of the strait and Mt. Baker. It was perfectly located near restaurants and stores in PA, and was easily accessible to various locations in the park.
The hosts were responsive and courteous, and provided really helpful recommendations.
10/10 would stay there again.

It was more than we expected. The view from the living area was breathtaking. Emma had the kitchen fully stocked. And everything was clean and inviting. She gave us recommendations for dining and for sight-seeing. We were so glad she recommended going to Hurricane Ridge in Olympic NP. The day was cloudless and we could see for ever. We will definitely return to Port Angeles and stay at this lovely house.

Very nice home, located within walking distance of downtown eateries, with easy access to the major roads. Secluded, very quiet, great views and the owner has put a lot of attention to details.
Kitchen is up to date and very fully stocked. Beds are comfy, linens are new and everything is very clean. Smart TV with DVD player is nice - and a fun collection of DVDs if something catches your eye.
No hesitation to give this 5 stars!

A very clean and well appointed home right on Puget Sound with views of Vancouver Island and Mount Baker. The ferries, cruise and cargo ships, sail boats, along with beautiful sun and moon rises, deer and birds…gave us ever changing vistas and views along with other surprises from our bedroom and living room picture windows, made this the perfect place to unwind and have a fabulous respite after following a busy HYW 101 from the south visiting and staying at all the resorts and lodges(fantastic) along the way. With Hurricane Ridge (a straight line-from the front door), wonderful restaurants, grocery and retail stores and the wharf and the ferry to Victoria B.C. (a lovely ninety minute ride each way) only blocks away, it was an ideal location for a lovely vacation home for us. Hosts and owners Emma and Scott (next door and unobtrusive neighbors) were very welcoming with fresh cut flowers, candies and a personal note of welcoming, not to mention, soft drinks, water, and coffee. Best of all a special shout out to Scott for the clean windows…quite stunning.
Thank you,
Tom and Marcia Johnson

Four of us traveled to see Olympic NP and Victoria BC. The location of this place cannot be beat. 2 parking spaces in front. Easy 20 min walk to “downtown” Port Angeles (food, cute shops) and the Ferry to Victoria. An older and very quaint home RIGHT on the water (seriously - only feet away). Enjoyed the view and watching the boats come and go.
It also has adequate and comfortable seating in the living area for 4 people. Many places I’ve stayed, this isn’t the case, but we could all relax comfortably together.
I was a little worried of the location next to the hospital, but didn’t hear any ambulance noise during our stay. Twice we heard late night helicopter come in - but it wasn’t constant or troublesome to us at all. The port was also not too noisy as the ferry horns were over by 10pm and didn’t start until ~ 8am
This is possibly the most well appointed home I have ever booked. The kitchen and home was perfect - very well stocked (extra spices, Olive Oil, dishes, cookware, laundry soap, hand soap, shampoo, towels) and very organized. Other places I have stayed, everything is scattered all over - but this host took the time between guests to set everything in its place to be easily found.
Emma sent a comprehensive list of things to do, favorite places to eat in and around Port Angeles. We referenced this list many times during our stay.
Would highly recommend this house - and would not hesitate to rebook myself.

We enjoyed a relaxing visit to the area. The home was very well appointed and comfortable. The view over the water watching ships come and go was an unexpected treat! Everything was clean and well maintained. Thanks!

This is a beautiful, well equipped, comfortable house overlooking the water. We’re on a three week trip through Oregon, Washington, Victoria and Vancouver, Canada. The house in Port Angeles has been the most comfortable by far.

The most perfect stay anyone could ever ask for! Easy to find home with great communication from owners! (Who are now friends) Opening the door during sunset to that view literally took our breath away! There wasn't a dry eye in the house! So so so beautiful beyond words! Most comfortable beds ever! Just absolutely beyond perfect! The owner was in constant quick response contact with all kinds of ideas for amazing things to do, they even came over for coffee and we had the most fun visit and got selfies together and played with their dogs! Felt like old friends we'd known forever! All amenities you could think of were provided, even cold drinks in the fridge! Even my disabled grandmother (85) with severe back and mobility problems slept like a baby and didn't have a bit of discomfort from the beds. You have to drive out to Ediz Hook and watch the sunset if you stay here, it's only a 10 minute drive and it's the most beautiful thing you could ever see! We were going to go during the day but owners suggested sunset and they were right! Make a hot coffee throw it in a to go cup and go sit on the stones while the waves crash at your feet! It was a little chilly and windy but such a perfect moment in time!!! 10/10 will be doing everything in my power to go back again and will stay in only this house everytime!!!

We are repeat guests and would definitely stay here again. The home has an uncluttered, cozy, comfortable feeling. Tastefully decorated, modern kitchen and laundry. Comfy beds. Plenty of fluffy thick towels. Dazzling view of the Straight and Ediz Hook. Easy access to downtown and everything else in and around P.A. Yet it's tucked away with lots of quiet. Back patio has bbq and comfy looking patio furniture (which we haven't had the opportunity to use yet.) Parking for 2 vehicles in the private driveway. Every morning we watched the deer hang out in the big yard next door and the eagle that perches in the treetop a few lots away hunting for breakfast (binoculars provided by the host.) Five stars for this place!

This is a great house with a gorgeous view. We were a family of 5 adults and had plenty of room. The house is very close to the Olympic National Park entrance and Port of Angeles has some great restaurants to choose from. Grocery stores are close by and the kitchen has plenty of dishes and cookware so we were able to prepare meals as well. Would highly recommend this home.

We absolutely loved this little home for our Pacific Northwest family vacation. We had no idea how wonderful this home was going to be when we reserved it! It has the most comfortable beds we have ever slept on and every amenity we needed during our stay - and then some! The two best parts about this home are the clear views of The Strait of Juan de Fuca and the location - it is close to the Olympic Discovery Trail, close to Hurricane Ridge Road, and a reasonable drive to the Hoh Rainforest area. We hiked and biked every day while staying and were welcomed "home" each day to relax and spend quality family time. The sunrises and sunsets viewed from the bedroom and living room were truly spectacular! The kitchen was stocked with the best coffee maker ever and all the dishes and necessities to make our stay comfortable. There were plenty of towels and a washer and dryer to help with our sweaty hiking clothes.

Great location close to town & on the water with beautiful sunrise views. Clean, well stocked, & carefully organized with small thoughtful touches noted throughout. Would absolutely stay here again & recommend to those looking to stay in the area!

Came to enjoy the Olympic Peninsula for 3 nights, and we couldn't be happier with this rental. The sunrise comes early in the summer, and it lasts forever as viewed through the picture window in the living room. Safe friendly location with good parking area and comfortable beds. We walked down the adjacent Olympic Discovery Trail to the ferry landing to catch a ride to Victoria for the day, and we drove right on over to Olympic National Park early enough to beat the crowds even after we slept in.
Hosts were amazing and the house is well stocked with anything you might need. Highly recommend booking this gem!
The worst thing I have to say about it is that the foghorns and seagulls can be a bit loud, which is not really a complaint as it means you are RIGHT on the water.

Loved our 3 night stay here. The location is perfect for accessing Olympic National Park. The home decor is cute and furniture is comfortable. Lots of helpful amenities and thoughtful touches in the home. The hosts were very responsive and accommodating. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

The house was everything promised and it exceeded our expectations. The setting is lovely: large windows overlooking the water for a great view. The house was very clean and welll maintained. A small yard was nice to sit in when the weather was good. We have rented many homes but this was the best supplied: from linens to dishes to pots and pans, cleaning supplies, even coffee and tea. It had everything we needed, and all the equipment and supplies were like new. It is in a convenient location in Port Angeles: right in town so shopping is quick and convenient. There is a brand new huge fancy playground just down the street, so the two children were delighted. The nearby beach was a bit disappointing since there was so much seaweed, but there were plenty of other things to do for both adults and children. The hosts were very responsive to all our questions and it was nice that they were closeby in case we needed anything. All in all, we highly recommend this property.

I booked this house for the view and proximity to Olympic National Park. The View is way better in person. It almost knocks you over when you open the front door. You get an awesome sunset and the sunrise is even better. We had to get up around 5am and we got a gorgeous view of Mount Baker with the sunrise. The homeowner takes a lot of pride in this home and goes out of their way to make sure you have EVERYTHING you need for an enjoyable vacation. Let me list just a few of things we were impressed by: super comfortable beds, plush towels with enough to dry an army, quality kitchen furnishings (everything you could possibly need), binoculars for watching the cruise ships go by....the list could go on and on.
Now, I believe in giving the full picture on my reviews. The owners have done really nice upgrades to the home, but keep in mind it's an older house. If a small shower and floors that aren't perfectly level aren't easy for you to overlook then maybe this isn't your rental house. If the awesome view, comfortable beds/furnishings and a wonderful host is more important then I would tell you to BOOK now. You won't regret it. We don't usually vacation in the same place twice, but I can see myself coming back to Washington in the future and I would definitely rent here again.

The large panoramic window is the star of this property. We were impressed with the cleanliness, and the quality of the furnishings was Excellent. We appreciated the welcome refreshments. The unit feels private despite its close proximity to other homes. We found the kitchen to be adequately stocked and we enjoyed the high end coffee maker. The unit is quite cozy, and it is evident that a lot of thought went in to the planning and placement of furniture and fixtures. As previous reviewers noted, the master shower is tiny, and the only thing I would change is to add a patio outside to enjoy the view from the back of the house. This is a wonderful property and the host was very attentive and professional.
