The Hemlock Tiny House is a modern and cozy single-story tiny house featuring a large 7x7 foot window overlooking the beautiful wooded hillside, a queen bed with a great view of nature, full kitchen and bath, and great outdoor space among mature trees to enjoy an evening campfire and the night stars. Nestled on a private wooded hillside less than an hour southeast of downtown Columbus, this tiny house has all the comforts of home – just bring your toothbrush and a change of clothes and you're all set to enjoy the renowned Hocking Hills trails and all the nearby restaurants, wineries, breweries, coffee shops, and other great adventures!

We had a great time at the Hemlock House.The house was very clean and well equipped. We loved watching the wildlife (birds, deer, squirrels, and chipmunks!) through the seven foot window. Communication from the host was very good. Information was clear and timely. We would gladly stay here again.

Everything was absolutely perfect. The huge window was amazing. We lounged in bed and watched deer, squirrels, and a variety of birds outside. It feels like a treehouse! The hosts provided all of the pertinent details in advance of our arrival and entry into the tiny house was a breeze. Definitely recommend!

While the weather was brisk our stay in the Hemlock tiny house was warm and cozy. My daughter and I headed to Hocking Hills for a short spring break hiking trip. Christine and Matt made our trip so easy to plan and enjoy with their travel guidebook.

Our first time to Hocking Hills area. It should be a National Park - amazing! Our tiny house in the woods was the perfect choice to stay. Peaceful location with complete privacy. Practically brand new and not even a cobweb. Owners are ideal hosts with excellent communication.

First time at Hocking Hills and first stay at a tiny house added up to a wonderful outdoor getaway for my husband and me. Matt and Christine's Hocking Hills Tiny Houses do not disappoint. Lots of amenities in a small venue that had us feeling like we were staying at an upscale resort. We loved watching the birds flock to the feeder each morning thru the large glass window while we enjoyed a cup of coffee courtesy of Matt and Christine. In addition, these hosts provided a wonderful little area guide that not only provided links and info on the great hiking locations in Hocking Hills State Park, but also places to find beverages, food, treats, shopping or just other things to do in the area. We tried several of their suggestions and really enjoyed our last minute getaway. We will be back and will most likely pick the Hemlock again or perhaps try another of Matt and Christine's Tiny Houses. Wonderful trip staying at a wonderful place.

We loved staying in the Hemlock tiny house! It was just as pictured online, so cute and comfy. It's not far off the main road, but set back in the trees and very private. We had all the necessities, and extra special touches too, like bottled water for hiking, and s'mores for the fire pit. Watching the birds and other wildlife out the glass wall by the bed was a highlight! Matt and Christine kept us well informed in the week leading up to our stay, so check-in was easy, and we had lots of good suggestions on what to see and where to get coffee and good food. We enjoyed our trip to Hocking Hills, and staying in this unique tiny house!

This Tiny house was adorable. There were lots of cute little touches, like stuff to make smores, comlementary water and makeup wipes etc. Owners were very attentive and willing to help if we needed anything, while also giving us our privacy. Will be back again.

Hubby and I are educators and love to plan a quick getaway as soon as school is out. We could not have chosen a better place. My husband is a tv head but it allowed reconnection, playing dominoes, enjoying nature and listening to its many sounds. There was a bird feeder outside of our bedroom window that I loved waking up to and just watching throughout the day. I love camping so I cooked both breakfast and lunch in the roasting oven. We did a moonshine tour, antique malls, and the man made beach. This trip was short but for sure our fav and best in years.

Very impressed. Very good communication with owners. Short drive to Hocking Hills State Park. Very convenient to town for food. The tiny house is well stocked with supplies. The bird feeder is a nice feature. We saw multiple deer right outside the large window. We will be back. I would highly recommend.

We loved our stay! The place was immaculately clean and the large window made us feel like we were one with nature. Our tiny dog, Willie, loved that he was a welcomed guest. This was the first time we’ve stayed anywhere that had a water bowl, leash, bags, if needed. Willie also adored the window view and was mesmerized by the birds in the feeder. It couldn’t be more excellently located! Probably my favorite part is that we felt so secluded! Then—Meyer’s Clean Day products!!! It was a 5-Star experience—all the way! Thank you!

Very much worth the money!! I stayed for 2 nights in November. I was very impressed with the amount of care and consideration Christine and Matt put into my stay. I recieved a guidebook that had everything from the location, their favorite local spots, to helpful guides on what to pack and everything inbetween. Upon arrival you first notice the impressive outdoor area complete with a firepit, a beautiful deck, cute outdoor lighting, and a nice eating area. The keyless entry was effortless and convenient. Once inside I was greeted with a hand written not and was blown away by the decor, amenities, and coziness of the space. I used every bit of the space and can say with utmost confidence that I will back to next year!

Christine & Matt listed the property just as you get it. There were no unpleasant surprises when we arrived. The place was spotless and very well equipted. Everything we needed & more was there. The owners were prompt with their communication with us & made themselves available, if so needed. The tiny house was located conveniently by all the popular sights in the area. However, it was secluded from the main road. The big window next to the bed was our "television " in the morning as we watched the birds fly in to eat from the feeder. We would stay again.

What a wonderful place! We viewed wildlife right out the huge window. Communication with the owners was great and they offered a digital guidebook that covered check in, check out, local attractions and restaurants and many more items. It’s the first time we have ever used one at all the VRBO’s we have stayed at and it was extremely helpfully. We went to a few of the restaurants recommended and they were great. We would definitely love to stay here again.

We had a very nice stay in this tiny house. The large window opening onto a wood area gave this unit its character. Because of its compact nature, being limber and having some physical agility is helpful. The steep gravel driveway was a bit of a struggle for our Prius.
