About this cabin rental

Quaint Couples cabin in the middle of the woods! Hot tub on deck, fully equipped kitchen, gas grill, TV/DVD/CD player. . Located in the heart of Hocking Hills!
We have 16 cabins on a total of 30 acres. We have a wide range of cabins from couples cabins up to cabins that sleep 10 guest. All of our cabins have hot tubs. Located in the heart of Hocking Hills! So many fun activites in the Hocking Hills region including rock climbing and rapelling, hiking, horseback riding, exploring Old Man's Cave, riding ATV's, petting zoos, etc. the list goes on and on. So many restaurants/bars and antique shops to choose from.

When arrived earlier in the day to scope the place. The road drives past a place full of scrap cars, campers, washing machines & odds & ends. Two guys that scream no running water or sanitary conditions. Then the road road had been washed out from heavy rain and filled with loose gravel. I have a older heavier car it was difficult to drive up the road to the top of the hill then we turned around and the drive down included a hill going up then down in descent. That hill almost cost me my car! The car was hitting the under carriage( my oil pan!!) & throwing gravel. I had to back down the hill & start up again with left wheels off road & barely made it up that road. Horrible conditions for a business that should be customomer friendly. We did not stay the night. I will never rent from that company again & I am very unhappy that VRBO lets this place be on the list of places to rent. It should be condemned!!!!

This was a much needed getaway from everyday life. No wifi and limited cell service. The bed was very comfortable. The cabin size perfect for the two of us. The hot tub was used day and night. Food prep dishes could use an upgrade, but it was fine. We enjoyed our stay

The bed was the WORST BED I have EVER splepted in my husband didn't sleep hardly at all the entire stay. He would have rather slept in car. The dollar general pillows probably 5 yrs old. Towels were a joke. The place should have screens in windows not everyone wants the air conditioner running constantly. After awhile its nauseating. The best part of it was the hot tub it was working and clean. We ended up having a good time but would not stay again.

There are better cabins and locations in the area. Bed, chairs and couch were terrible! I am 5’10 and my bf is 6’4, we barely fit on that bed and the metal frame was recalled last year and every movement you felt uneasy with all the sounds it made. No shelter coverage over hot tub where you could hang out in the hot tub if it was raining. Clear line of sight to each cabin above us and below us. Absolutely the bare minimum provided in this cabin.

Overall the cabin itself was very clean. But the location absolutely sucks. The drive in is terrible and the pictures on the app where I booked were nothing what it actually looked like when we pulled up. Overall I wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

Initially, the love birds cabin YouTube due to electrical issues.The hotel was not working. We emailed the host and they upgraded us at no additional charge. They were very prompt in their responses and resolved the issue quickly. Overall a great place to stay and don't forget the 4 wheel drive.

Beautiful cabin, very secluded, super comfy bed, fantastic hot tub, perfect for a relaxing weekend get away. *when they say 4x4 required in the snow they are not joking. However they did have a snowplow come through that was super helpful. Also note that this was not just a little snow. It was record breaking snow with 10 inches*Highly recommend!We will definitely be back again! Food recommendation, try the Home Tavern, logan OH. Breadsticks, country fried steaks were amazing!

This was a first Christmas, and mini honeymoon with my new husband, I was so excited to have a romantic evening especially in the hot tub under the night sky, I brought candles, and wine, however I never got that experience. The hot tub didn't work, the light under the bathroom sink didn't work, the bed was small, the shower had no light above it, therefore you showered in the dark, and the shower floor was so slippery I had to hold onto the handle as not to slip, and the water turned cold after a few minutes. In the morning we got up to make coffee, the coffee pot was broke. The pillows on the bed were so flat, and bed was very uncomfortable. I will never stay, or recommend this place again.

Was pleasantly surprised to see that the mattress that was the subject of all other reviews had been replaced and slept very comfortably. Hot tub was clean and refreshing. The linens need to be updated, but that didnt stop us from having a great weekend.

Driveway is questionable. Having a all wheel drive in the fall season still was a must do to the big ruts in it. If we brouht ou smaller car, not sure how it would been.

Would not recommend this property or any other properties managed by the owner. The streets around the property were extremely flooded and impossible to use because of the heavy storms from the hurricane in Florida. Owner did not message us back for hours when trying to get to the property, and then refused to refund us even though we did not spend the night here. Was incredibly rude and horrible host. Would never recommend this cabin or any others owned by the host.

I loved the location, had a great time hiking, using the hot tub, cooking over the fire, and relaxing in the woods for a few days. The grill worked great, there were some complimentary DVDs in the room for nights. The hot tub was incredibly relaxing and i used it every night. My only complaint for the 3 nights i was there were the bed and pillows. Both were both severly lacking. The bed was super saggy, couldnt lay down without rolling into the center, and I literally had to crowl out of bed because it was so saggy and droopy. The pillows were basically sheets of paper and offered literally 0 support. I was thankful i brought pillows with me to supplement. There was also a significant amount of trash under the bed from previous occupants that had never been cleaned.

Everything was well cleaned, loved the layout of the cabin and the seclusion. Desired and updated bed, that was rough! Updated towels, furniture, to have nice chairs outside so people would want to lounge around the hot tub. You had one spoon…. Why? Update and then I can honestly say we will be back or recommend to others.

We found it frustrating, upon arrival that we had to call regarding the state of the hottub. It was obvious that they didn't take the proper time to clean and disinfect. When we took off the filter cover, we found the filter covered with I'm not sure what. Yuck! The mattress needs to be replaced. It caves in so two people will roll to the center. This made for a restless night and a sore back in the morning. Make sure you bring some cooking supplies. What they have there is minimal. With all this said, with a little loving this cabin could be so cute.

We absolutely loved it, but knew about the bed and yes it will beat you up, luckily they have a nice hot tub to help eases that pain! Just wish the owner would take to heart these reviews! Loved the location and scenery and seclusion, but good gracious update your bed, bedding, towels and folding chairs out back! We would stay again if it wasn’t for the bed!

When you first turn on to Phelps road to get to your cabin you see the scariest, trashiest junkyard to the right , that is quite large and off putting. It’s kinda creepy BUT once you do find your turn to head towards your cabin it’s very secluded and the perfect place for a quiet get away. The cabin didn’t smell the best, and there wasn’t that many dishes to use but some basic ones yes. If you are scared of spiders this might not be the cabin for you because they are everywhere ranging from all different types and sizes. The shower didn’t have a light which was kinda hard to see inside but the hot tub on the back patio made it all worth it. The bed is also horribly uncomfortable but the ac worked well. There’s some cons but the pros outweigh them. Overall pretty good stay and perfect mix of roughing it and being comfortable bc of the access to Walmart for food and a few good restaurants. Will be returning.

4.5 stars. Cabin was small and nice. Hot tub was great. Only complaint is the bed. Very uncomfortable. Couldnt sleep on it. The mattress had a huge sink in point in the middle. Other than that it was good.

Decided to spend a couple days at Hocking Hills for my husband's birthday. We were just planning on staying one night but decided to stay two nights. The first cabin we stayed at didn't have any spots available for the next night so we looked somewhere else

I recently stayed at the lovebirds cabin from march 13-16 . I am very unhappy with the stay at the cabin. We discovered that we have bug bites all over ourselves from staying here at the cabin and we believe they are spider bites . We found many spiders crawling on us while sleeping and lots of cob webs in every corner or every room. The cabin was not very clean when we got there . When we arrived the hot tub was 60 degrees and not useable . The fire-pit was all trashed and not cleaned up at all. There was trash and the fire-pit needed all the rocks put back around the ring . Big branches piled up on the pit . The bed was very uncomfortable and causing really bad back pain . Very unsatisfied with the cabin for the price I paid . I’m typically not the Type of person to complain but this cabin is in much need of some help. Also, there is no shower Mat so after you shower you get the floor soaking wet and the wooden floor is starting to rot. Overall bad setup with the curtains as well. Not able to get changed in private with clear curtains.

The cabin is cute but thats about it.....the bed was caved in, the hot water only held for about 5 minutes, the chemicals in the hot tub were really strong, and the cabin smelt muskey.....we booked for 2 nights and only stayed one.
