Nestled on 5 scenic acres in Townsend, Misty View offers breathtaking mountain views and the perfect retreat for families and friends.
This spacious 5-bedroom, 4-bathroom cabin features a main-floor king bedroom with an ensuite bath, plus a second full bath near the stairs. The main level boasts a large kitchen with a breakfast nook and island, a dining room, and a cozy living area with a wood-burning fireplace, with deck access from both the living and dining areas.
Upstairs, you'll find 3 bedrooms (2 kings, 1 queen) and 2 bathrooms—one with a tub/shower combo and one with a walk-in shower. The master bedroom has stunning mountain views from three large windows and a dedicated workspace for remote work.
The lower level includes a bunk room (4 twins) and two game rooms with a foosball table, arcade game, pool table, and shuffleboard, plus outdoor access to the hot tub, climbing wall, basketball area, fire pit, and seating. Guests also have access to a shared volleyball net and playground with the nearby cabin (sleeps 6, located about 300 feet away).

The house was great for us! We had 4 moms and 10 kids. The kids loved all the things to do in the basement and the moms loved not hearing them all! Haha Host had extra beach towels delivered when we could only find a few. Loved everything and we would return.

We did have problems. Property was definitely showing signs of wear.
Master bathroom had no lock on door into common area and sliding door fell off the tracks repeatedly.
I was informed, after booked and paid for, that hot tub was leaking, but could be used if filled up before each use. 1/3 of water leaked out every night. Leaking water made it almost impossible to use climbing wall and basketball net…extremely muddy ground and all the standing water seemed to attract numerous bees.
And the biggest issue was that the sliding glass door in the living room was extremely difficult to open, and would not lock. Informed owner and thought someone was coming to fix, but they did not show. Got message from owner asking if we still wanted repair on day we checked out.
Owner responded promptly to our request to check in at 2:00 instead of 4:00.
We did enjoy the view and the fire pit.
This rental was not cheap, and I was not expecting to be in a property that was in need of so many repairs.
