The Cocoonr Agency is offering this 46 m² duplex flat for rent, suitable for 4 people, set back one row from the sea with a view over the harbour in a seafront residence on Boulevard Promenade Veyrier Montagneres, between the Thiers and Eyrac jetties. You’ll be right next to restaurants, shops, the casino, the ferry terminal for Cap Ferret and Île aux Oiseaux, and cycle paths.
This apartment has just been renovated and is spread over two levels. On the ground floor, past the car park, there is a living room with a bay window, a fitted kitchen, a utility room and a separate toilet; on the first floor, there are two bedrooms, a shower room and a toilet. Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are included – we’re just waiting for you!
The accommodation comprises the following:
- A living room with a sofa, TV and a table seating four people,
- An open-plan, fully fitted kitchen: induction hob, dishwasher, oven, microwave, Nespresso machine, kettle, toaster, plenty of storage space with all the necessary cookware and crockery
- A separate toilet
Upstairs:
- A bathroom with a spacious walk-in shower
- Bedroom 1 with a double bed (140x190) and fitted wardrobes
- Bedroom 2 with two single beds. Please note that you must go through the first bedroom to access the second.
You’re right in the heart of Arcachon – enjoy the beach just 50 metres away, and the cycle paths that take you south through the Aiguillon neighbourhood, all the way to Le Mouleau and Pyla. The famous market is just 8 minutes away, brimming with stalls, each one more colourful than the last. The Thiers jetty, just 2 minutes away, is the perfect place to set off on a boat trip around the bay.

- Arcachon railway station is a 10-minute walk away; trains run every hour, with a journey time of 50 minutes from Bordeaux.
- Bordeaux Airport is 68.3 km away (52 minutes by car)
- The underground car park at the Town Hall takes you directly to the market halls.

Le Mogador "🙂 The woman who met us was so lovely and helpful. The location is fantastic. The apartment was spotless.
🙁 The whole street outside is being redeveloped until end of summer 2024, so be warned there may be some building noise all day. This also means that the car park is out of use, and you cannot access the beach directly through the gate, you have to go round a diversion. It's not that much longer, but not the direct access advertised.
They gave us a pass to use the street parking for free, but parking was really hard to find. It was highly annoying we couldn't park outside the apartment- that was a key reason we booked this place as we have a young child.
While the apartment can't help the building work, it is annoying to have to contend with it with no notice that this was happening.
It is also a bit misleading the way the pics show an outside seating area, when in fact that space outside is the corridor for other building residents to access upstairs, so it's awkward to sit outside and you have people walking right in front of the patio and upstairs windows all the time.
The second bedroom is off the first bedroom, no separate entrance. And the door to the first bedroom and bathroom is very low and my husband jolted his neck a couple of times in the middle of the night."

Le Mogador "Spoilt after we got home.
🙂 Proximity to beach and private parking are imperative to us. We loved the location and were already planning a return visit before……

🙁 We were accused of staining a sofa. We were sent a photo of a grey sofa - there was NO grey sofa in the apartment - with a stain on it that was ‘not there before our stay’ asking what we knew about it, because the sofa was new and the agency were upset about it. To say we were upset was a total understatement. We were extremely upset and the accusation spoiled what had been a wonderful stay in Arcachon. We had sat in a dark green sofa, which was covered with a turquoise fluffy throw, for only about an hour on the Wednesday evening as during daytime we were on the beach and at night we were in the town. This has made us very wary of renting apartments as in 30 years of doing so we have never been accused of staining or damaging anything - because we are very careful and mindful of the property belonging to someone else."

Le Mogador Nice place, tidy and well equipped for 2 nights stay. Ground floor place so there isn’t a balcony (i thought there was from the photos). The electric tripped when we got there but the person we got the keys from was able to help resolve. They were kind enough to allow us flexi check out time which was really appreciated.
