About this apartment rental
Additional information about the amenities and surroundings: The three vacation apartments were completed in 2003 on the site of a former farm and have since been renovated. The farm was once fully operational, and today vacationers can relax and unwind from the stresses of everyday life in this idyllic rural setting. In the apartments, you’ll find a wide selection of informational materials about Neuenburg, the Frisian Wehde, and the North Sea coast. We’re happy to provide recommendations on which destinations are particularly worth visiting. Perhaps a visit to the beer town of Jever or a day trip to one of the seven islands. A visit to the “School Museum” or a guided tour through the moor. We’re happy to help you organize these activities. A popular destination is the city of Wilhelmshaven with its beautiful Südstrand beach and the JadeWesterPort. A day in Dangast is especially popular; every guest must try the legendary rhubarb cake at the old Kurhaus. The best fish sandwiches are at the harbor in Varel!!!
We offer three vacation apartments on a former farm near the North Sea! Here are some great reasons to book your annual vacation with us: Family-friendly—fresh, healthy North Sea climate, comfortable beds in the large bedroom, cozy living room, plenty of space to play. Nestled between primeval forest and sandy beach, our vacation home is located on a former farm in the Friesische Wehde vacation region. In and around the Friesische Wehde, there are plenty of ways to enjoy your free time. Well-marked bike routes, such as the Friesische Heerweg, lead through our picturesque towns of Neuenburg, Zetel, and Bockhorn. Inline skaters will also find plenty to enjoy here. Thanks to its central location between Oldenburg, Wilhelmshaven, Bad Zwischenahn, and Jever, many nearby destinations are easily accessible. Would you like to get married? You can do so at Neuenburg Castle.
Even more excursions: Why not visit the “Spijök” Curiosity Museum at Varel Harbor, where you’ll hear plenty of tall tales? Neuenburg Castle is well worth a visit; the Rauchkatten grounds and the idyllic park are perfect for a stroll. Afterward, you can enjoy a cup of coffee at the 140-year-old Rutteler Mill. Visit the National Park Center in Dangast, the Franz Radziwill House in Dangast, the Local History Museum, and the Varel Windmill with its local history collection (one of the largest windmills in Germany). Take the “Etta von Dangast” from Dangast Harbor to the lighthouse and the seal rookeries. Just outside Neuenburg, there’s another beautiful windmill in Ruttel that’s still in operation. Afterward, enjoy some delicious cake at the mill café. Don’t forget to add our moor to your list of places to visit—weekly guided tours are available there.
