Very good location to the Old City and convenient for tour pick ups

The location is right besides King’s Landing

Pillows were too soft and there is no kettle to boil water, we used the coffee machine to boil water

Perfect value for money. Amazing location

The property is in an amazing location, very close to everywhere in old town. Communication with host was smooth and easy. Ivona was absolutely amazing with instructions, directions and anything I need it.

Great!

Conveniently located just a short walk from the Old Town (Pile Gate). Very clean and comfortable room. We enjoyed our stay here. For the GOT fans - Blackwater Bay and King’s Landing is literally right outside the front door!

This is not a complaint - as this was not an issue for us - but if you are a person with mobility issues, or someone who is planning to bring a large/heavy suitcase, it is important to be aware that there is no elevator within the building, only stairs. There is also a staircase to reach the main door to the building from the street.

The apartment was nicely appointed and in a great location. Ilona provided perfect instructions for how to get there, which was helpful since you do have to walk a bit down stairs and up to get to the apartment. It is so close to the Pile gate of old town and the fort. Can’t be beat. Ilona is a great host, meeting us there when we arrived, and advising us about how we needed to get from the airport. The property is above a “cafe-bar”, which Ilona had told us could be a bit noisy. On the day we arrived, my wife tried to nap in the afternoon and couldn’t well because of the noise, but they close at 8 and all is quiet after that. Also, the KOP bar staff, particularly Leo, was extremely helpful with restaurant recommendations (and he was spot on), and it was a pleasure to sit in their outdoor seating and have a beer in the lovely weather we had, looking over the inlet and the city’s walls.

The heating had a problem, which didn’t make a difference for us because the outside temperatures were fine, and she had a maintenance man come by to check it. He didn’t speak any English and talked very loudly in the hallway, before we realized he was the maintenance guy. A bit strange of an interaction, but not a big deal.

The location was amazing. The rooms were clean and had good amenities.

The room we had was in the attic area and therefore we had a low peaked ceiling, which meant that it was a little harder to move around.

Perfect!

We absolutely loved our stay at Stone Elegance. The apartment is in such a fab location, only 5-10 minute walk to stradoon and the main tourist areas of the old town. The apartment was clean, modern with some nice touches - bottled water, soap, body wash and shampoo and a coffee machine. We didn’t hear any noise at all from the bar below (we were on the second floor). The harbour area around is breathtaking, we will definitely be back in future. Ivona was super helpful.

Not a dislike but on the morning we were leaving, the ceiling was leaking from one of the beams, not sure if an issue with the rainfall the previous day or the apartment above. Ivona was very helpful and said she would have the owner check this immediately. A full length mirror would be a great addition too.

Great location

The staff were helpful when there was a problem with someone else who self-checked into our room. They were decisive and efficient in dealing with the problem. The location is amazing and the bathroom is great. It was convenient to store our bags on the premises while waiting for our transfer.

The check-in system needs a rethink. The bed and pillows were uncomfortable and we struggled to get a good night's sleep.

Disgusting, just a dirty money making scam

Ivona was very helpful in arranging our arrival and access to the building / room and taxi when we left.

The place was filthy, disgusting, dust on all small ledges, under the bed had never been swept, there were cup rings on the ledge above the bed and tea stains down the front of the cupboard under the sink and by the rubbish bin within it. The room was cramped, we were up in the eaves and could not stand on one side of the bed or at the sink. The bathroom was minute, your feet were under the basin when on the toilet and you looked into a room across the way, they could watch you. The shower was very narrow, I could not stand under the shower head properly as there was not room width wise, I was sideways on. There was a rack for hanging clothes but no shelves to put anything on, hardly room for our two suitcases. We did see in an apartment on the first floor and that was far roomier. We were put in the eaves in a room not fit for purpose, the owner just being greedy for money. Do not stay in apts 5 or 6.

The apartment is located near the old town, just a 2-minute walk away, and remains quiet despite there being a bar beneath the building. The views from both inside and outside the apartment include the castle and the old town. The host, Ivana, was helpful and friendly. I plan to return in the future.

Nice apartment in a great location.

Location was great, a few minutes walk to the entrance to Dubrovnik old town. Flat was modern with good facilities. As stated in the description there isn't really a kitchen as such but that didn't bother us at all.

Description stated that there was a cafe below the premises but in reality it was a bar with music playing from mid-morning through until midnight some times. We only stayed 2 nights so not really a deal breaker.

The location was spectacular with water (swimmable), The Kopp Cafe, and views of part if the wall right THERE!

The only negative was the tricky walk with luggage from the the main street above-no vehicles allowed closer.

Highly recommended in Dubrovnik

We loved our stay at Stone Elegance. The appartment was spacious with a beautiful modern bathroom, lovely bedroom and entrance area and, a special joy, lots of storage (we would have been comfortable staying there for months). The location is very convenient, just minutes' walk away from the Pile Gate to the old town, and from the bus stop with connections to the mainline bus terminal and the port area. The owner is very communicative and helpful. We enjoyed coffees and stronger drinks at the little coffee shop in the same square.

Wonderful location

Location, location, location! Before I found this, I thought I had to choose between a view or easy access to the Old town. This still doesn't have much of a view from the bedroom, but if you stick your head out from the bathroom window, you CAN see the sea and the castle walls! Attached photo was taken from the bathroom. It was just steps away from Fort Lovrijenac. It was wonderful to go there in the early morning before the crowds arrived. I think it is one of the most photogenic spots in Dubrovnik!

No elevator. Our room was on the top floor and we really struggled to bring the suitcases up the narrow staircase! But then we are rather unfit middle aged seniors.

Great location and space, just needs to be better serviced

The room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom is really big. The interior is quite special. The good AC was important in hot Dubrovnik. The location was excellent right near the old town and some good restaurants and cafes.

The bathroom drain gets clogged and it floods. There was no cleaning service. There was also a delay in getting things like towels. For a property that’s not really cheap, it should have been 10 out of 10. The property is inaccessible by car so prepare to drag your bags up and down stairs to get to the main street. This is quite normal in Dubrovnik but just something you need to know.
