Le Pigeonnier, gîte des Lucioles en Provence

Absolutely wonderful stay, I can't recommend it enough. The gite was totally charming, spotlessly clean and very thoughtfully renovated. The hosts were so lovely and helped with any questions we had. Inside, the beds were comfy, the kitchen very well equipped, and bathroom had a surprisingly big, comfortable shower! Outside, the pool was perfect, there is an outdoor kitchen and dining area - and also a fig tree. The hosts encouraged us to pick the ripe figs which we cooked up in the outside kitchen. It really was idyllic.

It's summer, you're outdoors, so you will need some insect repellent - but of course this is not the fault of the property! (and there were citronella candles on the property).

Es hat uns sehr gut bei Laurence und Guy gefallen. Die kleine Anlage ist toll, besonders der Pool, der Garten und die Außenküche. Laurence und Guy sind super nett, danke für den schönen Welcome Abend und die Unterstützung bei der Buchung der Geburtstagsüberraschung für unsere Tochter :-)

Die Treppen sind originalgetreu, aber wirklich sehr steil. Familien mit kleinen Kindern sollten sich darüber bewusst sein. Uns hat ein Sofa oder ähnliches gefehlt, auf dem wir abends, wenn die Kinder schlafen, gemütlich sitzen können. Die Terrasse war für uns nicht nutzbar, weil man ums Haus herum laufen muss und wir die Kinder dann nicht gehört hätten.
