The hostel is in prime location right besides Jonker walk and river walk. The hostel is well managed and kept clean. Mr Howard is a fine gentleman running this establishment like a small community centre of its own.
You’ll feel like you’ve visited a second home with old friends, rather than a nameless hostel with faceless people. Coffee, tea and essentials are available 24/7 and the seating area is cozy and friendly atmosphere.
Nothing. Maybe fix the reading lights that is present in dormitory. But nothing that would break the experience.

A great and pleasant stay with clean amenities, nice social area and a good social program.
AC was turned off around 10. I came back late once and it was hard to continue sleeping due to the heat.

Super great location, felt like a very social place to spend time, enjoyed the multiple common areas! The staff were all really lovely and so happy to help and answer questions. Rooftop was a great spot to hang out and the group chat seems like a great idea
The private rooms seem a bit more basic, than the dorms and could maybe use a bit of TLC. There were also lots of ants in some of the bathrooms

The location of the accommodation is really great! The volunteers and the owner are also super friendly and will give you tips if you need them. The beds themselves are also very comfortable
Unfortunately, I'm a bit disappointed in general. I had little red ants in my bed, so a whole road went through my clothes. The toilets were very dirty and there was no garbage can in the toilets. You always had to put your trash in the trash in the middle of all the bathrooms. But this was invariably overfilled and the garbage was all around. Also the wifi was often down, but if you had wifi it was good!0
