Quiet, peaceful with everything you need and close to town.
The perfect central spot to explore Devon by foot, bicycle, bus or train. A family sized cottage with all weather options thought of. Games for cold weather, books to read, TV with Netflix, outside space to store your bikes, and a barbecue with a table and chairs. The fully equipped kitchen provides the option to self cater or you can eat out at one of the many restaurants or pubs just a short walk away. It really is a multi purpose all weather option that covers everything. Rest, walk, cycle or use the bus or train to explore some of the best coastal towns that South Devon has to offer, or just kick back and chill out, do some art or start writing the book that you always dreamed of doing.

The property was spacious and everything you needed was there. There was enough crockery etc not to have to wash up we just put dirty crockery in the dishwasher and put it on the night before we left. Beds were really comfy .Access to amenities was just a stones throw away.
Although we had parking permits , parking was an issue if you took your car out and tried to park on your return.

Beautiful, quality home in a good location
This is a beautifully decorated and quality presented house, both spacious and incredibly comfortable, every little detail is well thought through. Spotlessly clean and well equipped too! The welcome information was excellent....no guessing how anything worked... and walking maps, dining out/shopping information was all supplied. I appreciated the outdoor space too, as it has a private back patio/yard. It is so close to the train station and bus stops and on the doorstep for the town, with the endless beaches only a pleasant walk away. I very much enjoyed my stay in this house and loved Exmouth for it's beaches and headland walking.
It seems churlish to say, as everything else was perfect, but, no cafetiare! It's been 30 years since I used instant coffee, yuk, so I had to go and buy one to make a decent morning cuppa.

Would have been almost perfect had the heating functioned properly
Location was brilliant and very clean property
The heating was very good when it worked! On arriving in the afternoon of Saturday 8th October there was only central heating working upstairs ! The electric fire also wasn’t working! The open plan downstairs was obviously cold and Saturday evening wasn’t much fun. An engineer and “landlady” arrived Sunday afternoon and got the heating and hot water system working properly. On Wednesday morning we awoke to find there was no heating or hot water available- not good. The engineer called Wednesday afternoon to correct the faulty boiler. The heating worked for the remainder of the week.

Great position, great property
Terrific in every way. We (my wife and I) stayed for a week in September 2022 and wow, were we impressed. Spacious, very well equipped, and brilliantly located. Marks and Spencer food store within 90 seconds walk, railway station likewise, and town centre, pubs and bus terminus 5 minutes walk. Tip....don't judge the property until you are inside - the road itself is nothing special (and parking can get a bit tight) but the inside of the house is really excellent. Hot, powerful shower and plenty of heating options for chilly evenings. Highly, highly recommended. Extra information.... - We tried several pub quizzes: easily the best one was the GWR Club behind the station (£2 to enter...no membership required) on a Thursday - We did several Treasure Trails.... around the area....we did 4 during our week. Takes you around the places you might miss otherwise

Perfect house, perfect location and would definitely try to rebook again in the future.
The property was lovely. stones throw away from the beach and other amenities. The house was perfect for our family and very clean.
