Sunshine House

A real personal touch from Nisia and Giuseppe (who met us at the property to show us round). Excellent whatsapp comms. Great restaurant recomendations from Giuseppe, too. Private bathroom - modern bathroom, good shower, but not much headroom for someone 6ft1in Balcony - this was excellent, overlooking the action in the street below, and catches the sun around 5pm...beer o'clock Air conditioning - 2 units, worked great View - excellent Kitchen - adequate, induction hob used a few times. kettle every day Shower - good shower, but not much headroom for someone 6ft1in Room amenities - basic but acceptable Socket near the bed - yes with USB socket Bed - a nice firm bed with blackout shutters. We both slept well. Because it overlooks a pedestrian street, there was no noise outside when the shops closed.

Free WiFi - this was intermittent at best. we rely on wifi for planning and, unfortunately it just didn't cut it. It went off entirely, apparently owing to a thunderstorm and power cut. The host had to come to the property to resolve. Flat-screen TV - this is a very old Samsung TV, way past its best. I'm a Samsung man, and this TV was very poor. The controls were poor too. What would help is an ethernet cable plugged directly from the TV to the router. Better still, a new TV. We didn't go to Sorrento to watch TV, but it's a welcome break from the relentless 30odd degree heat we were experiencing at the time. Streaming service (like Netflix) - misleading. As per TV comments, these do not work efficiently. There are no English Channels, so we relied upon Youtube for news updates. Again, this didn't always work. DVD player - misleading - there is no DVD player in this property Clothes rack - there is no clothes rack in this property. We had to hang clothing and towels over the balcony rail.

Perfect size for a couple, location is incredible, walk out of the building and you’re next door to multiple cafes and restaurants, shops and the Main Street is about 25 yards away.

I’m almost 6’3 and my feet were hanging off the end of the bed, something to bear in mind for the taller folk. Same applies to the shower.

Super lokalizacja, blisko wszystkich najważniejszych punktów w mieście. Blisko sklepy, bary, restauracje oraz piękny punkt widokowy na zatokę. Bardzo wygodne łóżko, byliśmy w marcu, więc było chłodno, ale były zapewnione dodatkowe koce oraz farelki. W kuchni podstawowe przyprawy, oliwa, toster, czajnik, kawiarka, garnki i patelnia. Jest też piekarnik, duża lodówka oraz suszarka i żelazko z deską do prasowania. Bardzo dobry kontakt z właścicielem - udało nam się wcześniej zameldować.

Dość dużą wilgotność sprawiała, że po czasie unosił się nieprzyjemny zapach. Brak żelu pod prysznic oraz końcówka mydła do rąk. Widać, że było posprzątane ale mieszkanie ogólnie ma już swoje lata i drobne rzeczy są lekko zużyte.

This property is probably located on the most busy shopping and eating intersection and all of Sorrento. Just walk out the front door and you’re in the center of everything. The apartment was very nice clean and large. It had a small balcony which was very enjoyable. The owners were extremely cooperative and helpful and we’re easily available for questions without hesitation we would lease sunshine house again if we were to return to Sorrento

The only drawback that we had was the movement of our luggage from the taxi drop off area of Tesco Square to the apartment.
