Small but perfectly formed.

Just around the corner to Holes Bay and wildlife like Little Egrets and Swans. Really quiet good location to explore the area. Upton Park a few minutes walk away. Food shops and a brilliant "chippy" a few minutes drive away and Hamworthy beach/park Great for everyone. Property had everything you need for a short stay. It was clean, comfortable unless and nicely decorated. There was some complementary milk in the fridge. So thoughtful.

Only small observation. Not hugely important but short of utensils i.e fish slice, slotted spoon and cheese grater. A frying pan would be helpful too.

Value for money

House is on a quiet cul de sac. House filled with natural light. Comfortable bed and plenty of hanging space for clothes. Short drive to Poole. There is a nature reserve behind the house with footpaths to follow.

There is no lock on the shed as stated. the oven wasn't as clean as it should have been. Sofa is uncomfortable to sit on.

Well located with Holes Bay nature reserve right on your doorstep. Quiet location. Spacious accommodation for a couple.

The place was generally very clean, however we had to wash some of crockery and cutlery when we arrived (food on wooden spoon etc). Also a cheese grater would have been nice.

Perfect stay for our first family holiday

We have just had our first family holiday here and wow, what a lovely place to stay! We have just had the best time away and we were so lucky this was still available!! The bed was really comfy and the room was really nice. A perfect space for our baby too in her Moses basket. She slept all night in new surroundings so she felt very relaxed there too :-)! We normally eat out on holiday but due to having the kitchen with everything there we could cook a nice meal when our baby was in bed. Which was really nice. A little basket provided by the hosts was such a nice gesture of wine, tea bags, coffee and some snacks. The house was spotless too and all information was provided in the welcome book. We walked around the nature reserve right behind the house and walked to Cobbs Quay which was a short walk away for some drinks! If you wanted to eat there I would recommend you booking as it was fully booked We would love to stay again when in the area :-) Thank you Scott and Mary

Everything was clean the bed was comfy and there were plenty of utensils in the kitchen to cook with. Neat little property next to the nature reserve so we could walk our dog round it every morning.

Very comfortable.

Clean, tidy and comfortable. Ideal for two people. Heating was efficient. The welcome pack was a thoughtful addition. Thank you for the bottle of Beaujolais. Parking space was a bonus. We admired the pictures on the wall and the modern light fittings. Very tasteful.

One big dislike - the toilet seat does not stay up, so it is unfriendly to men. The boiler is in the loft. It kicked in a few times at night and woke us up. There was an overnight frost, so perhaps this was the "frost stat". The corkscrew was bent and didn't work properly. You need to provide something stronger.

A Perfect Weekend!

We were down for the weekend visiting relatives and needed a dog-friendly place to stay and this was just the perfect location and property. Communication from Scott and Mary was great and the welcome pack was much appreciated. The accommodation was clean and comfortable and we had all we needed. We walked to Upton Country Park on Sunday morning and got drenched on the way back; perhaps we should try again in the summer! Thanks very much.

Fabulous Clean well equipped property with lovely walks and views at rear.

We had a lovely 4 night stay at this cute little house over New Year. A very thoughtful welcome package was left for us and also our pup which was very much appreciated. The property is in a very quiet area with beautiful walking areas at the back of the house. we had our car so travelled every day to Poole Durley chine Southbourne etc. There are plenty of little shops close by coop chemist etc. We went to Cobbs bar and restaurant on The Marina which was a great little find for a very small walk and is dog friendly. we would definitely stay again. Thankyou 😊

This isn’t a dislike as such but just a little heads up for fellow dog owners. The lovely little patio at the front isn’t enclosed so if you need to let your pup out in the night it’s just a little fiddly to attach lead etc to ensure safety instead of being able to open the door. This however would definitely not stop us from returning.

Lovely stay and we will certainly be back

The house was really nice with good amenities and friendly neighbours. We arrived to a lovely welcome basket for us and the dog. It was a really nice touch and very much appreciated. It is in a good location for dog walking (Upton country park and Hamworthy park) and visiting our family on poole Quay. There is also a pub, Co-op, takeaway places in close proximity one direction and a Lidl and further on a large Aldi in the other direction.

The owner responded quickly to a query and was very friendly and helpful. The property was exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated. A very useful and generous welcome pack was left for us which was a real treat. Behind the property was a lovely walk along the edge of the nature reserve. Really nice.

A comfy easy chair in the lounge would have been a bonus on top of the sofa bed which wasn’t the most comfortable thing to sit on and relax.

A short, comfortable stay near a wonderful wetland.

It is not often that we find accommodation so close to where we can bird but Holes Bay provided just that. The accommodation was very comfortable, the tv remotes were well labelled (which in many places we've stayed is not the case), which avoided hours of head scratching, the bed and sofa were very comfortable and the kitchen was quite well equipped. The book of instructions was really well thought out and made life easy when using the washing machine and cooker. We were very content.

A cheese grater would have been useful (apologies if I missed it in one of the drawers) and the spider in the bath one morning was enormous (but that is no fault of the accommodation - just a comment on how large Dorset arachnids are!)
