Dupont Circle Embassy Inn by FOUND

It was a really nice location and a short walk from a lot of restaurants/cafes on U Street. Also fairly close to the metro. The bed was comfortable and it was nice to watch a movie in bed.

The bathroom had issues and the toilet did not always work. I could not get the toilet to flush sometimes. The lights were also missing lightbulbs.

This is my second stay at this location, and it could not have been more perfect. It is within easy reach of major attractions, as well as vibrant nightlife and great restaurants, making it an ideal base for experiencing the culture of Washington, D.C.

The bathroom was clean and functional, though the shower tile could benefit from a simple refresh. The lighting was also slightly subdued, but not to the point of being inconvenient.

Had problem with the keypad entry, but there was always someone there to assist me, AC loud.

Cozy townhouse and location

1. The reservation confirmation is automated and out of control (more than 16 emails and 6 SMS for a booking of just one night, asking to fill a form to upload driver licence, credit card (when booking.com already has the credit card info), then sending the building door code, then sending the room door code only after the room is cleaned - - all this is so stressful and irritating. 2. Getting another last minute text informing of water pipes issues. Indeed, I had to take a cold shower, with little water pressure. 3. Getting a text upon leaving asking if everything went well - - with no word of excuses. Maybe their robot at reservation needs an A.I. upgrade.
