The young man at reception was friendly and personable.

Beautiful location with direct view to the sea bay. Very clean house. Almost perfect facilities. Large rooms.

Nothing serious.

The huge size of the place. On two floors with a great view of the fjord. Would easily sleep six people. Very clean. Beds comfortable. Kitchen well equipped. My brother managed to set off the smoke alarm with his cooking - good that it worked and the staff response was quick and efficient.

The site looks unfinished, although our building was fine. It’s a little way outside Tromso - about a 25 minute drive. The NOK 100 parking fee per night should have been included in the price. This was the only place in northern Norway (Bodo to Nordkapp) which asked us to pay additionally for parking. Only one bathroom in our Sea House - that was fine for the two of us, but with six people it would be difficult. The bathroom needs a chair and hooks for clothes and towels.

The staff forgot to leave the right keys when I arrived late in the evening , and they don’t have a number to call after reception is closed. When I wrote, them the staff didn’t get back to me the next day. Very unprofessionally done, and in general the place has the vibe of a hostel/camping site. Both in terms of the others guests and the facilities. Would highly recommend it for backpackers and people looking for a big flat to share, but not for people looking for something extra. The sink was dirty and the cleaning in general looked unprofessional, like something a younger person or they do themselves in a hurry. Not done from a professional service educated staff.
