Rose Cottage

The cottage was beautiful, garden stunning and location perfect. Lots of lovely extras, biscuits and prosecco and treats for the dog. House was clean and tidy, great wi-fi and TV.

Very low ceilings in some rooms/doorways, which I hadn't realised before I booked and unfortunately we are all 6ft so it was a bit of a problem. Mattress in the master bed was very hard and took some getting used to and there was no shower - Just a bath shower mixer. In hindsight I should have checked these details before booking but they didn't prevent us enjoying the stay. More of a concern was the lack of communication, I asked a couple of questions in advance of the stay which either weren't answered at all or only answered several days later by Booking.com - I had no communication at all with the owners. I was supposed to be told 48hrs in advance where to collect the keys but actually was only informed by an agent at booking.com by phone the morning we set off to the cottage which caused us undue concern.

The garden was just magical.

The ceilings where very low bit to low.

Honestly, best little home I stayed in from all my previous bookings. Everything perfect. 😍♥️
