Charming. Plenty of room. Appreciated having provisions in kitchen when we arrived.

Minor issue: when we arrived, coffee pot still was full of coffee and filter had not been changed

The towels were tiny. Could do with being a bit bigger The kitchen floor needed a good scrub

Beautiful property, fitted out with period features as well as modern kitchen and bathrooms. Nice and warm central heating, with comfortable beds, and sofas in the lounge.

Access to the garden was accross a shared drive, so we had to be careful when letting the dogs out.

The house is an elegant older home with large rooms and an updated kitchen. The period furniture suits the house although the table in the kitchen is a bit too large for the space. The house is quiet at night despite being on a busy street. The kitchen has a lot of equipment but the utensils are simply chucked into a drawer. Thankfully the knives were in fairly good shape.

Overall the house requires a solid cleaning. We found mould in the lower bathroom shower, dirt and mould on the bedroom and upstairs bathroom windowsills, some dirty glasses in the cupboard, dust and cobwebs under the upstairs bathroom radiator and stains on the hall carpet upstairs. While the sinks and the bathtub and toilets were clean, the edges of the rooms and the bathrooms were neglected. The freezer also needs to be defrosted. Other than the key access code, there was no information on the house or the area. The wifi password was difficult to read. The oven smoked when we heated it to cook indicating a need to be cleaned as well. The oven mitts need to be replaced as they are very soiled.
