The ground floor of the villa was spacious with air conditioning throughout. There is a supermarket and coffee shop a few minutes away, and the number 7 bus brings you into Corfu - which is convenient. The villa is equipped with a dishwasher and washing machine which is convenient. While there were some positives, it’s unlikely we would return to this villa again though as the negatives from our experience outweigh the positives.

Our stay as a family of six in Efilenia luxury villa Corfu can only be described as average. There were several aspects of our stay which were disappointing. The villas are located up a windy pot holed road with overflowing bins and roaming cats which did not create the best first impression. The advertised views were also not what we hoped for, as the villa overlooks a derelict, unfinished building. The WiFi connection is extremely poor throughout our stay making it difficult to stay connected. We also experienced an ongoing problem with ants in the kitchen, particularly around the food preparation area, which was unhygienic and frustrating. The 3 bedrooms and en suite bathrooms were very cramped, with very little space to move around or store belongings/luggage. The outdoor space had potential but it was difficult to enjoy because there were large numbers of wasps constantly around the pool area. We hope these issues are addressed for future guests. Overall while the villa provided the basics for our stay, the combination of the location, limited bedroom space, poor WiFi, ant problem and wasps around the pool meant it did not meet our expectations. Although the villa had a lift inside, we were told it was not available for guest use. At the same time the washing machine was located in the basement which could only be accessed from outside the villa which was inconvenient and seemed an unusual layout.
