Villa Theolia

Brilliant villa - very modern, comforts js and spacious with excellent pool.

Great for a family but bedroom setup would be odd for two couples.

A luxurious, 5 star, very modern, very clean and comfortable villa, the best quality mattresses and bedding, dressing gowns, quality towels, black out blinds on all windows, hot water whenever you need, ultra quiet air conditioning/ventilation system (you could not hear it at all) 2 days before we arrived we got directions and were able to whats app Konstantino to ask if we could arrive at 1pm instead of 4pm. We were very grateful he agreed and he met us at the villa with the keys and spent time showing us around, he also sent us so much information on whats app about places to visit and restaurants which was so helpful. It has a stunning kitchen and living room overlooking the beautiful pool and garden with orange trees and surrounded by an olive grove. Excellent Wifi and smart TV with Netflix, Prime and You Tube. Everything and much, much more is in the kitchen than you could ever wish for including oils, spices, herbs. A welcome gift of 6 litres water in the fridge, a bottle of wine, miniature honey, marmalade, olives. The layout downstairs was perfect for just the two of us and would be OK for a family but probably not two couples, a lovely large bedroom with lots of wardrobe space with toilet and sink but you had to go through this room to the second large bedroom, also with lots of wardrobe space. There was a jack and jill shower (access from both bedrooms). A very easy 10 minute drive to Corfu Old Town, big car park 600m before the Old Town, 5 Euros for the day (parking in or around the Old Town impossible). We hired electric bikes from Corfu Port Cycle Hire, right opposite the port entrance, and had a great afternoon, cycling through the Old Town and further south along the coast road (there is a cycle track for a short way) and down to where you are so close to the planes coming to land overhead and the little Pontikonisi Island (3Euro boat trip). Our departure time was extended to 1pm which was very generous.
