Alassio Apartments Palm Cove - Privately Managed

Excellent location with food and drinks just outside the gate. The pool was protected from the wind and perfect for our children to swim in.

Location was great.

Picking up the keys was terrible. The location for key pick-up is a bit of a walk down the esplanade. The instructions for getting the key are confusing first up. The was a small convenient store below the apartments. Perfect place for key pick-up and return.

Location was great to access the beach and foreshore, cafes, restaurants and bars. The apartment was very clean and homely decorated. The bed was comfortable and daybed on the balcony was a great spot to relax and read. The kitchen has all you need to cook a meal.

There’s a smell of mould as you walk in. There was some mould in the seal of the fridge and maybe the air conditioner needs cleaning or the carpet in the bedroom needs replacing. There were ‘Singapore’ ants on the daybed by day two so maybe some insect spray could be provided. Unfortunately there were a few families that spent an entire day screaming in the pool(8-4). Perhaps there needs to be an explanation and signage that pool use is done with consideration of the other apartment guests. Carrying your luggage up 3 flights of stairs is an effort as there isn’t a lift.

The location was very good, centrally located and always felt safe to leave and return.

Overall the apartment was a bit dated and could do with a refresher (e.g. broken blinds). The internet connection was dodgy and the constant noise from external air conditioners made it unpleasant to be on the balcony or even to open the sliding door.
