Villa Cala Dor

The location of this place really made it! It's only a 5 minute walk to Cala Petita and only a 5-7 minute walk to the centre of the action. It made things so convenient to head out for a drink or meal and walk back at night. The street is quiet with lots of parking. The front sitting area was really nice to use and we used it often, but you will likely need to pick up some bug spray or citronella candle to enjoy. Loved the look of the house and the stairs were really beautiful. The company was really easy to work with too.

The beds are standard for Spain in that they're pretty firm and this bed was extra squeaky. The house is missing a few standard things like a pair of scissors and the bbq was all rusted and full of cobwebs that we didn't want to use it (also it's a charcoal bbq and the place didn't come with any charcoal). When we arrived, the house had many mosquitos which I assume is from the cleaners leaving the doors open while doing their clean because the same thing happened when they came and provided new towels while we were out. We kept the doors shut while we were there and didn't have any issues with mosquitos inside so it wasn't a big deal. A suggestion for the property would be to ensure the doors are shut while doing the cleaning.

Quiet location, close to resort centre, beach and small supermarket; small sunbathing facility in front of villa, new small kitchen appliances, plenty of crockery and glasses

Villa was quite worn in places & in need of some tlc. A deep clean would certainly be beneficial. Poor Wi-Fi. No English TV channels.
