Sierra Grand 1402

Great location and wonderful facilities. The indoor and outdoor pools/spas were great! We also had a lovely view from our balcony. Appreciated the washing powder for dishes and clothes.

The property itself was great. We were on the 14th floor and found it very noisy (construction, traffic, sirens etc).

Floors obviously had not been swept or mopped for quite some time. Some dirty cups in cupboard and dishwasher had not been emptied

The location was great. The beds were clean and comfortable. The original staff member who helped me take my luggage from the office where keys are picked up was very friendly and helpful.

The worst and most condemning thing was after I left I was told there was damage to the property. The furniture had been moved and scratches were on the floor. A wall was dented. This was categorically not true. My adult son said there were scratches to the floor that were there on arrival. I hadn’t even noticed. They also said our luggage made scratches from the door to middle of room. It was an Antler 4 wheel glider new case on its first journey- it did not scratch anything. My only conclusion is that the cleaning staff have moved the furniture and they have some kind of wheeled trolley for cleaning purposes. I don’t know this for sure as I wasn’t there but it’s the only thing I can think of. The sofa needed cleaning on arrival and we cleaned up a cockroach too after that we were actually quite comfortable there for the week but the overall experience was pretty upsetting. Being accused of something that absolutely didn’t happen is not a pleasant experience. I even asked the agents if this was some kind of scam as I was so shocked. I stayed in another apartment for a week no 802 and it was perfect. The building itself has great facilities but I’d definitely not stay at 1402 again. I asked agents to make a complaint and they said - you want to make a complaint about damage you did. As you can imagine this was infuriating. I found before my stay and afterwards that it was very clear I was dealing with very different staff members at the agency looking after this property. Some were lovely to deal with and understanding/ helpful and some were not.
