The property was very spacious and very well maintained, all the facilities were there and everything we needed was ready to use.

There was a very unpleasant smell of rubbish coming out of the front door bins. As it’s hot we were with the window open, and the smell was unbearable so either we were hot, or we had to manage the smell. Also, the cleaning crew left some dirty stuff around the house, which meant that they didn’t check the house properly, but of course we were charged for the cleaning fee. A open bag of cereal was left in a drawer, together with a sponger and two dirty spoons in one of the rooms, and a half used roll of kitchen towels left in the drawer of the other room.

Location was good. Very near a big Sainsbury and public transportation. House is two-storey. A bit tight for 7 pax but had enough sleeping space. Kitchen was clean and good, decently stocked. There’s a garden in the back. The area is very nice, clean and quiet. Took long walks around the area. Felt safe. There’re 3 toilets so it was great for a large group. There are board games in the living room. Nice touch!

Bathroom - one had a bath only. A bath with shower would be great. The other shower room is rather tiny. TV was unexpectedly small for the size of the room. Very thin walls. We had to whisper to each other lol The water pressure in the shower room is affected by the one in the other bathroom. So if someone turns on the tap in the bathroom with tub and toilet, you can’t get your hot water in the other shower in room. Weird.

The property location was perfect for us. The check in & out was very easy.

The cleanliness of the property wasn’t great, the kitchen floor was visibly dirty and there was a very unpleasant smell from the dishwasher. In the en-suite and bathroom there was a lot of dust that had collected behind the doors. There was built up grime along the bottom of the shower and around the taps. The taps were very very loose, they started to spin when trying to turn them on and off. There was also property left in the cupboard in the single bedroom (I assume from previous guests) We did have a slight issue with ants in the kitchen but we understand this is an issue in the area after speaking with family who live close by, this was rectified quickly after contacting the host. The property is tired, it’s not presented well and not very well maintained.
