Beautiful location for a peaceful stay with a wonderful staff.

The hotel was modern and I loved its style and location. Breakfast was great as were the offerings from the bar and restauant. The staff were all really helpful and kind before I arrived and during my stay.

Very nice hotel, disappointing Zoo..

Nice renovated hotel at the entrance of the Zoo.. It is very new, clean and very nice staff. Breakfast was simple but great and fresh. We liked to have a beer in the Bar at night when our kid was sleeping and that was very nice with good beers. It was a little weird they didn't have a restaurant with a chef ( you could order pre prepared meals for your room) but the staff recommended some great restaurants in town. We went to stumm's brauhaus! That place is great! (TIP!) All on 5 min. Drive.

The zoo.... well Zoo, they should call it a museum. The museum of the empty animal houses and expotition of the working man with the opputunity to walk into a wild excavator. we went here during our roadtrip vacation because we wanted a zoo and it was on route, but the zoo was very disappointing. Luckely the city centre had a great shopping centre to fill our time. But because we liked a stop in de middle with a nice zoo we probably won't be going here again. If you put this hotel somewhere else we would come back, but the zoo isn't worth it.

Serengeti feeling in the midst of German forest

- Nice renovation - Free entrance to the zoo - cool wallpaper in the suite (401 - 3rd floor Birds world) - simple, but good breakfast - cute toiletry bag for our toddler I had an unforgettable experience. I heard the lion's roar in the middle of the night echoing in the hills. That was awesome. I was shocked at the beginning because I wondered what is was at 03:35 AM. I wasn't expecting a lion's roar in the middle of the night. I quickly realized it was one of the lions (beautiful African lions by the way). It was strong, loud and powerful. It was just awesome. I heard it several times between 03:35 AM and 04:45 AM. I was able to record it. It happened again during the day, but it wasn't as powerful as in the quiet night. In the jungle, the mighty jungle, the lion "doesn't" sleep tonight 🤣🤣🤣 No need for me anymore to stay at a Safari lodge. Don't expect too much from the zoo though. It's okay-ish for very young children. I think the lions need more company. They are brothers. They need to start their own families. The zoo should exchange one lion for 2 lionesses. These are my 2 cents. But I am far for being an expert in this area.

For some reason, there was no one available at the reception before the closing time. I couldn't even access the reception anymore on Saturday after 05:15 PM. And it was supposed to be open until 06:00 PM. That's UNACCEPTABLE. I could have ordered food for the evening, but since there was no one, that was not even an option anymore. This needs to change. As an hotelier, you cannot afford to ignore your own opening hours. I also greatly missed: - TV in living room - fridge in hospitality cupboard There is enough room to put up a second TV on the living room wall and also enough room for a small fridge in that cupboard in the foyer. These appliances are a minor investment since there are only 2 suites in this hotel. This would definitely level up the quality of anyone's stay in the suites.

Really nice hotel in a fun location

The hotel was located on the perimeter of the zoo. The building was beautifully decorated and superbly clean .. when we checked in we were given a room overlooking the car park so we asked for a different one on the other side of the building..no problems at all to change it ..we could hear the animals from the balcony they sounded like lions but they weren't...

It might have been useful to know from the booking site that food was available in the bar...we didn't know until we got there by which time we had bought stuff .

Worst night's sleep in ages, horrible rubber sheets.

Awful rubber sheets that were noisy and sweaty. A huge dust ball in the corner of the room. A ridiculous motion sensor that turns on the lights when you move. Internet wasn't working. Bathroom floods whenever you use the shower, such a terrible design for a hotel room, really hated it.

Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt nicht.

Die Möglichkeit, zu einem guten Preis das E-Auto zu laden.

Komischer Geruch im Schrank, deshalb alles im Koffer gelassen. Das Frühstück ist auf keinen Fall 25 € wert. Koffeinfreien Kaffee gibt es nur als Aufgusskaffee im Beutelchen. Kein besonders gutes Brot, kein Lachs, Rührei nicht warm genug. Marmelade mit Konservierungsmittel.

Fantastisk hotel, ny renoveret hotel med lyse værelser, meget venlig og hjælpsom personale, beliggenheden var perfekt. Dejlig morgenmad. Vi blev modtaget med smil og det samme blev vores hund, meget hundevenligt hotel. Dejligt med gratis parkering ved hotellet samt adgang til Zoo. Helt sikker et hotel vi vil anbefale vores venner og familie og gerne besøger igen.

Ansprechendes Hotel

Gute Lage Überangebot an Steckdosen, inkl. USB-Steckdosen. Ablagefläche im Bad Zoo-Ticket inklusive Schön gestaltete Zimmer. Gutes Frühstück mit gutem Kaffee (Cappucino und Co) vom Service individuell zubereitet. Nach Absprache konnten wir auch nach der Besetzungszeit der Rezeption ankommen. Unsere Schlüsselkarten wurden freundlicher Weise hinterlegt und eine ausführliche Anleitung, wie wir an diese kommen und unsere Zimmer finden an uns geschickt

Schöner Wochenend-Kurzurlaub mit den Kindern direkt am Zoo.

Die Lage des Hotels, direkt neben dem Zoo, für uns als Familie ideal. Sehr schöne und moderne Zimmer. Absolut hundefreundlich, ein Riesen Plus + ;) Haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Kommen gerne wieder.

Die Kommunikation innerhalb des Empfang-Teams könnte besser sein. So sind vorbesprochene Wünsche nicht an Kollegen weitergegeben worden.
