A nice place to stay in Kalives for a family with basic needs

We liked that the apartment is very near to the beach, which is very nice and calm. It was clean. There was everything needed in the kitchen. There are 2 bathrooms, which was great for us. The host provided us with 4 chairs for the beach. The communication with the host was easy.

We didn’t like that when you have a shower, all the bathroom is wet, but it’s a common situation in Greece. We would recommend buying a normal double bed in the second bedroom, because now the second child had to sleep on the sofa on the first floor.

Good but should be better given the price

Beautifully located near the beach (and while it's not the most beautiful by the standards of Halkidiki, it's still a lovely, clean and not busy beach even in Aug) The owner was responsive and the location convenient to explore 2 peninsulas (you do need a car).

The apartment was adequate and had most basic things you'd need however for the price it was a bit 'tired' and could do with some simple touches that would make a big difference: better lighting, better mattress, more thought given to arrangement of furniture. The air con worked but needed maintenance. Having said that, I had a good stay but for the same price, I'd look elsewhere next time.

Superb

What you see on the pictures is what you get. What you don't see but what you also get is peace and quiet. This is really good place to complete relax yourself. Coffee every morning on the balcony, with a view on peacefully waters of the bay, such things have no price. Macadam street means there is not much of traffic. Neighborhood is friendly, but not nosy or curious. If you don't want to talk, they will leave you alone. You may park your car across the street or in a backyard across the street, in both cases was enough place even for my BMW X6 (5x2 meters).

Sometimes there was a stench from sewer system. Mosquitoes will have no mercy on you if you don't protect yourself. Owner will provide the sticks, "Raid anti mosquito" gadgets, there are anti mosquito nets but the rest is up to you. If you have allergic reaction to cat fur, you better find another location. There are number of local cats and they will pay a visit to you on the balcony.
