Right House Splendid Harbour View

Superb location on Via Roma, a short walk from the rail station The apartment is just across from the harbour at the back of the building, top (5th) floor. Spacious, spare and comfortable. Great value for the money. Very large outside terrace. Technically, the apartment has only a small area outside adjacent to it. However, the other apartments were vacant, and I had the large terrace to myself Three evenings of beautiful sunsets with the requisite red wine from a great store in the street behind the building. If you like wine, drop by. Great wine at very reasonable prices. Bruno, the property manager, was great. Was in constant touch from before I boarded the British Airways flight in England. I arrived late (around 9:15 PM ) and he was patiently waiting outside to meet me. Told me to contact him if I had any issues or concerns. Had a small issue with the television to which he responded immediately. Could not expect better communications or service. He also gave me recommendations on places to eat and had a bottle of white wine and a litre of water for me on arrival. After travelling overnight from North America, I needed both. Furnishings are adequate and everything you need will be there. However, it is sparsely furnished/decorated which suited me fine. A few maps or local pictures on the wall might enliven it a bit but at the risk of something jarring being chosen that would keep you awake at night.

If I had a criticism, the apartment was very hot. It had two mini splits, which didn’t seem to be cooling very well. I consoled myself that it was 12° Celsius at home so I should tolerate and even appreciate the hot temperatures for a few days. Be aware that the only toiletry supplied is a container of liquid soap. So bring shampoo and whatever else you may need.

Great location, host was very helpful and nice. Parking is a bit confusing

There was ants in the apartment, I can see that they’re trying to get ride of them but it was a bit concerning. Also we have a baby crawling and her feet were always dirty, seems like the mopping is not done very deeply

Hissen var ur funktion i 4 dagar och lägenheten låg högst upp, så det begränsade vår tillvaro.

Outside view and terrace. Large rooms. Laundry. Handy to train station and old town.

Sofa bed in living room is not comfortable for an adult. Made a lot of spring noise. Sheets were a little pilled. Outside area needed a clean.
