Hotel Maris

We absolutely loved out stay at the Hotel Maris! The front desk team - especially Izabella were wonderful and extremely helpful and friendly throughout our stay. We have been traveling to countries around the Balkans and this was our favorite hotel by far!

The hotel has a beautiful atmosphere and an absolutely amazing view. The staff were very friendly, attentive and helpful throughout our stay, especially the restaurant team and Isabella, whom we met at reception. We really appreciated their kindness and hospitality. The location was also great there is a lively street with plenty of places to eat within walking distance, and we really enjoyed spending our evenings there. Overall, I would definitely say Hotel Maris is one of the best places to stay in Ulcinj.

The room could have been a little cleaner when we first arrived. However, as soon as we mentioned it to the staff, they responded immediately and had it cleaned, which we really appreciated. Other than that, we had a very pleasant stay.

Location was amazing, room was a good size with an amazing view. Staff were friendly. Swimming pool was nice.

Hotel is in desperate need of a decent manager. Staff are generally friendly but lacking experience. Lots of things you'd expect at a hotel are missing, for example robe and slippers in bathroom. Breakfast buffet was mediocre and lacking options. Restaurant had very small, rudimentary menu and very expensive. Same for the beach bar. The sun loungers have seen better days. Tap water isn't drinkable and 1l bottles were charged at €5 a bottle! Room had a few things broken, like blind in the bathroom. Road to hotel is extremely narrow and parking is a pain!

The hotel has a great view, good restaurants, and a very enjoyable breakfast. The staff were also friendly and helpful.

The cleaning service was disappointing. Basic items like shampoo, toilet paper, and towels were not consistently replenished, we had to request them ourselves multiple times. Additionally, the garbage was not taken out during our 3 night stay at the hotel. Overall, housekeeping fell below expectations and needs significant improvement.
