A charming old building in an excellent location, our host was super helpful always responding quickly to queries. Comfortable beds and Netflix on tv so myself and my son could watch a movie at night time!

The accommodation has an absolutely perfect location, right in the center of the city’s life. Restaurants, shops, and entertainment are all nearby, and it’s a great central base for sightseeing in all directions. It’s also possible to find free parking not too far away. Overall, the place is generally clean and nicely painted.

The property requires extra payments (cleaning fee and late check-in after 22:00). Even though check-in is done online, the fee was reduced compared to what was listed, but it still feels unusual for Booking. Late arrival is something guests often cannot influence (flights, travel delays), so charging for it feels unnecessary and leaves a negative impression. The total extra amount itself is small (around 2% of the total stay for longer bookings), but it is repeatedly emphasized in every email and WhatsApp message, which creates a worse overall impression than the actual cost. I also declined an additional fee for keeping the room a few hours longer. If I pay an extra cleaning fee, I expect a higher cleaning standard. While the place looks clean at first glance, details show a lack of attention (see photos). The room is furnished, but some very basic items are missing (e.g., at least a few glasses). The bed is not very comfortable for sleeping.

If you have heavy luggage’s with you, it’s a bit tricky to take them with you as it’s full of stairs to reach the room
