Finca Cabana-Barcelo

This is a gorgeous property, exactly like the photos. -If you have a car it’s a great location, 10 min drive to the nearest shop, close to Cala D’or and other beaches/towns. If you do not have a car it’s a 25 Euro taxi trip each way. -It’s very spacious, everyone has their own private space and bathroom. -There are two kitchens which was nice (although there wasn’t any plates/cutlery etc in the first kitchen so it didn’t get much use). -The pool area is amazing, space for everyone and very clean. The outdoor BBQ was a great addition that was used frequently. - The whole house was very clean for our arrival We had a really great holiday here!!

As much as we loved being here, unfortunately there are some issues that came with the age of the house. -The water pressure in the showers was poor and the plumbing had an awful smell every time we came back into the house, especially the top floor. -The double bed in the master bedroom was two singles that slid apart in the night and all of the bed slats are broken so the mattress would fall through. -The air con is on a timer/ you couldn’t adjust the temp which meant you were either boiling or freezing. -There is a wasp nest in the wall of the house next to the outdoor dining table meaning you could not eat there. Other downsides: -The WiFi connected but didn’t work. -The downstairs bin provided was far too small for 12 people and no recycling bins. When you drop off the bins they expect you to have the recycling separated. -Please be aware there’s no basic cleaning products at the house (sponges, bin bags, kitchen spray, kitchen cloth, toilet paper, hand soap)

Das Haus ist zwar alt aber hat Charme. Wir waren mit 9 Leuten dort. Es ist sehr cool weil es gibt zwei Küchen und man geht sich sehr aus dem Weg. Die Häuser sind sehr geräumig.

Man braucht auf jeden Fall ein Auto.
