The homestay is very well run. The place has a homey feel, with games like darts and karaoke on the main floor. The man who runs the place is very kind and organized. His cats and dog are very cute and well behaved.
The location of the homestay is secluded, which is good for relaxing but not very convenient for getting to town for food/entertainment, or getting to Alishan. We rented a car, and eventually got used to driving the windy mountain roads.
