Lovely cottage with a garden close to Otterton mill, river walk and nice village. Good location for beaches and Really enjoyed our stay with family and the dog.
Another fan in hot weather would have been a bonus.

Great location in the village centre near the lovely mill and pub.
Good facilities. Nice garden.
Bathroom downstairs as you’d expect for an old cottage. Ample seating provided. Lovely kitchen. Nice bathroom. Sitting room not very cosy with vinyl flooring though I presume it is easier to keep clean with a holiday cottage. There is a fire we didn’t use. Bed in front room would benefit from a better mattress. The cottage has plenty of character.

The Buddleia next door had lots of butterflies.
The village was pretty and the walk to Ladram Bay was really nice.
The cottage needed some attention, it was filled with tired furniture and needed a good clean. For example the kitchen table was sticky and even though I gave it a good scrub and clean it remained tacky. There were cobwebs, sticky handrail on stairs. The garden was not looked after.
The sitting area was dark and uninviting and we did not use it at all. The kitchen was the best room to sit in.
