Overall, a great place to stay in Krabi – highly recommended!

We had a very pleasant stay here. The rooms were spacious and well-equipped, with a kitchen, dining area, and a nice terrace. Everything was clean and comfortable. The staff were extremely kind, helpful, and always friendly. Our kids had a great time at the swimming pool and also enjoyed playing billiards, which was a fun extra activity.

The only downside is that there isn’t a really good beach within walking distance, but it was very easy to get anywhere by Bolt or by boat, so it wasn’t a big issue.

Lovely oasis of calm close to Ao nang but better

The property was calm and quiet away from the hustle of Ao nang but readily accessible to some great restaurants and beach bars as well as the jetty for longtail boats to Raillay and elsewhere, so it suited us very well. We hired a scooter to get about and enjoyed our time here we recommend.

We would have liked a knife and fork so we could suit ourselves to breakfast of fruit and bread. We managed ok with teaspoons.

The staff is just so friendly and welcomed us very nicely. They would help you with everything you need. Also they let us stay in the pool until our taxi for the airport arrived.

Lovely and clean beautiful staff

Beautiful staff and very clean hotel very easy to communicate and very helpful hard working staff. The hotel had thought of everything lots of details to make stay comfortable. It’s about ten mins out of town which I loved as this hotel quiet and peaceful. Good price for the room considering the high season here. Felt safe at hotel. Would recommend.

Beautiful villa

Beautiful villa in pretty suroundings. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. They will help you book trips/transfers/taxis and give lots of advice on where to go. The WiFi and aircon are really good. It's 15 min drive from Ao Nang Beach and away from the hustle and bustle of the strip.

Lovely relaxing stay in a pleasant green area with a clean pool. Very helpful owners. Spotlessly clean with crisp white sheets and towels. Simple breakfast prepared to order.

Amazing family! Amazing place to stay! We loved it :)

We loved this place a lot! The bungalow was really nice, the location was perfect, but most of all, the family who runs the place is amazing..! They are so incredibly kind and helpful and will go out of their way to make your vacation perfect :) we booked a scooter through them and also 2 tours and everything was arranged perfectly and the communication was clear :) Ao Nang is around 10 min by scooter and the pier where a lot of tours go from is 2 min away! Highly recommend!!!

I don’t really have anything bad to say honestly..! Maybe if you want to be more nearby the “fun” places with all the restaurants and a bit more of a crowd this place isn’t for you, but it’s all really close, so if you like a quiet place, it’s really nice!

Excellent, small family run hotel in peaceful surroundings.

This little hotel suited us perfectly. It was in a small, local village midway between Ao Nang and Krabi Town. You feel as if you are in the middle of the countryside, it is so peaceful, but you are just a few minutes drive from Ao Nam Mao pier, and 15 minutes drive from Ao Nang. The rooms are simple but very clean, with air con. The family owners are so charming, and offer lifts to the pier and local restaurants. They also offer an excellent 24 hour laundry service, and can book trips, often with good discounts. We did the lovely Hong Island boat tour. A very nice breakfast is served by the swimming pool. A truly excellent restaurant is about 5 minutes drive away called Ko Damm, and you can sit on the waters edge watching the sunset!

Family-owned resort, nature, convenience, comfortable and love

Love a small, special family-owned resort. Warm, caring people at Avare Seaside. Using her years of experience and contacts in the hotel/resort industry, the owner helped us fix a tough situation quickly. The place very clean, comfortable, and convenient to Railay Beach. Great little restaurants a short walk away. Felt like a local more than a tourist. Thank you! Another reviewer claimed incorrectly there is no pool. There DEFINITELY is a lovely swimming just 3 meters outside your room. Made-to-order breakfast served next to pool each morning. Please consider getting off the beaten path and immerse yourselves in peaceful nature at Avare. Cliffs of Railay area in view. Definitely will stay here again.

An Unforgettable Experience - Loving It (Will Come Back Again If Given The Chance In The Future)

Avare Seaside Resort is the place to be if you need some peace and quiet. The hospitality shown by the hosts has been amazing. I feel the warmth and welcome from the minute I arrived there. First time in Krabi, I made the right decision not to book any tours beforehand. The hosts made it seemless and at a better rate as well. The in-room massage I requested is amazing as well. My frozen shoulder which has been aching for quite some time, healed to about 85%. An overall very satisfying and pleasant experience in Avare Seaside and Krabi.

There will be some mosquitoes lurking around but the host has provided some repellent to counter it. If you are looking for shopping, it's not nearby but you can book a trip there through the host.

Best hosts ever

This is by far the best accommodation I've been in for my 4-week trip in Thailand. The hosts were very helpful and gave us all the information we needed. We even booked 3 different day-tours through the host for a much cheaper price. Also, if you need anything (taxi, bus, ferry, etc.) I recommend you ask the host first, they might probably get you the best price for anything. Other than that the room was confy and really clean. It is located in a quiet area, 5-minute walk away from Ao Nam Mao Pier, 10-minute drive away from Ao Nang.

super good place to stay. It has a nice beach where you can chill and work. The owners are very friendly and provided wonderful traveling tips and tour services with awesome price and outstanding experiences. You should ask them for motorbike rental and your packages before booking them via Tripadvisor or something. They provide very good services

A hidden, peaceful rustic gem in Krabi, a lovely home away from home

We stayed at the little guesthouse chalet which we loved as it was private and just quiet. The hospitality was excellent as this sweet family helped made our stay so warm and beautiful. We loved the night market and four island trip which they helped us to arrange. Comfy bed and pillows, clean! Whatever shortcomings like the lack of swimming pool (they are in the midst of a revamp) they made up with their lovely hospitality and very helpful suggestions. We had a blast trying out this different, quieter part of Krabi, thanks to the Avare family. It was a peaceful, restful relaxed stay which felt like home away from home, a real gem of a rest stop. <3

The beach may not be like Phi Phi but we simply loved the privacy of this area. The area surrounding it was just so tranquil, we saw birds, observed sea life during low tide and interesting trees which the owners lovingly grew and cultivated.

We had the best time ever here and the only downside was that we didn’t stay even longer. we loved the quiet evenings on our private mangrove beach, the room is beautiful and you can also sit outside on a table to read at night and listen to the geckos chirp. the location is very good if you want to go to Riley as it’s only a 6 min walk to the pier from which you can take a longboat for 100 baht. The family can also organise a scooter for you and then you can drive to Aonang in 15 mins. We enjoyed our chats with the family as they’re just the loveliest people and we share their love for nature and animals. they have lovely cats that enjoy a cuddle from the guests. Great location also for bird watching. can’t wait to come back :)

Das Hotel wird von Nitcha und ihrer Mutter geführt. Die beiden sind einfach nur tolle Gastgeber und versuchen alles, um den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten und zu helfen, wo sie nur können. Absolut vertrauensvoll und man fühlt sich sofort gut aufgehoben.

Das Hotel ist etwas abgelegen, aber mit Grab oder Bolt kommt man in kurzer Zeit ganz problemlos an die Strandpromenade von Ao Nang.

Prima verblijf

De kamer was schoon en ruim. Het zwembad was lekker om af te koelen en de mooie rustige omgeving maakt het af. Onderaan de straat zijn voldoende eetgelegenheden. Ao Nang beach is met de tuk tuk of een taxi goed te doen. Railay Beach is met een bootje binnen 15 minuten te bereiken vanuit de pier die 10 minuten lopen verderop ligt.

De receptie was te opdringerig om via hun een tour te boeken. Wij hadden vanuit thuis al geboekt via GetYourGuide en veel goedkoper. Ook de taxi via Grab was veel goedkoper. Opeens waren ze niet meer zo vriendelijk. Jammer want verder is het daar prima voor een paar dagen als uitvalsbasis om leuke dingen te doen. Het zogenaamde privé strandje is een modderpoel en niet om in te zwemmen, het ligt naast een pier met boten. Wij kiezen toch volgende keer voor een ander hotel.

Gorąco polecam hotel, w pamięci zostanie bardzo miły i pomocny personel. Zawsze z uśmiechem otrzymaliśmy pomoc w organizacji wycieczek w konkurencyjny cenach, wszelkie transfery czy promy na wyspę Phi Phi. Apartamenty bardzo wygodne, codziennie sprzątane, basen ze zjeżdżalnia do dyspozycji. Spokojna okolica do wypoczynku oraz świetna baza wypadowa. Bardzo dziękujemy za przyjemne wakacje! Adam
